About this item

  • Choose the Right Size: This option Size L is ideal for Large breeds like Rottweiler, German Shepherds, and American Pit Bull Terrier. Please note that these breed suggestions are for reference only. To ensure the best fit, measure your dog's snout and neck circumference accurately and consult the size chart before purchasing. A proper fit guarantees comfort and effectiveness. Note: These head halters are not suitable for short-snout breeds like French Bulldogs
  • Stop Pulling: The BARKLESS dog face harness is designed to gently guide the canine head and then control the dog's direction of movement(similar to a horse’s halter). The dog mouth harness can prevent your dog from pulling the leash, reducing the bad behavior of pulling, jumping, yanking, or lunging. Walking the dog becomes safer and more enjoyable for you and your dogs
  • Sturdy & Practical: Crafted from sturdy nylon with heavy-duty alloy steel hardware, this dog head collar ensures long-lasting performance. Its reinforced stitching and reflective webbing enhance your dog’s safety during evening walks. Avoid leaving the dog halter on unsupervised for your dog's protection to prevent chewing the dog head halter or accidental entanglement. Use it only during walks or supervised training sessions
  • Comfortable & Humane: This no-pull dog harness makes your dog feel more comfortable and prevents skin abrasions thanks to the comfy neoprene padding on the nose. The nose lead for dogs relieves pressure on the throat of your pup, prevents the pet from choking or gagging, and allows your dog to bark, pant, eat, or drink
  • Use with Safety Link: The safety link provides extra security by connecting the headcollar to your dog’s regular collar. It prevents your dog from escaping if they break free from the head halter for dogs. To use it correctly, clip one end of the safety link to the D-ring on your dog’s regular collar (the collar they always wear) to provide backup security. Attach the other end to the loop or attachment point on the headcollar. Finally, attach the leash to the metal ring under your dog’s chin
  • Be Patient with headcollar and Your Dog: Help Introducing a new training aid may feel unfamiliar to your dog, and it’s normal for them to try to remove it. To help them adjust, encourage your dog to place their nose into the anti dog pulling collar with treats. Briefly put it on for a few seconds, then remove it and reward them right away. Gradually increase the duration to help your dog feel more comfortable. If they try to remove the headcollar, distract them with a treat or their favorite toy

dog head halter
Why your dog need head halter?

The head halter gives you more control on walks and it will help teach the dog to walk politely when combined with training.

  • Don't use a halter with retractable leash.
  • Supervise your dog while he's wearing the halter, whether he is walking or getting adjusted to it.

Head Collar for dogs, Gentle Head halter stops Pulling and Chocking, Perfect Dog Training Tool on Walks

What's head collar?

A head halter is a tool used to help teach dogs to walk nicely on a leash. This soft but strong headcollar imitated a traditional horse halter-where the nose goes, the body will follow. When the dog pulls ahead of you on a walk, his head is turned back toward you. It removes dogs' natural tendency to pull on the leash by placing gentle pressure on calming points and eliminating uncomfortable pressure on the throat. It is regarded as an ideal gear for dog training.

  • Stops leash pulling, allows gentle control
  • No choking, no pain
  • Allows dogs to eat and drink normally
  • Easily adjustable for custom fit
  • Quick-release buckles for easy on-and-off

How to Choose the Right Size?

To be effective and comfortable for the dog, the head halter must be fit properly. Our headcollar comes with instructions about how to fit and guide.

Neck Part: It should be snug so that you can only fit one finger between the dog collar and neck.

Snout Part: The nose strap should be loose enough so that it can be moved to the fleshy part of the nose, but not loose enough so that it can be pulled off. It normally rests right below your dog’s eyes. The metal ring where the leash attaches should be underneath the dog's chin.

Warm Tips:

1. If your dog's measurements are on the end of the rang down you should order the next size.

2. Highly recommend measuring your dog's snout and neck before purchase.

My dog hates it. It doesn't fit well at all. There was nothing included to keep the collar in place where the leash connects. Something is missing from this design.

Thinner than expected, & nose band could be more padded. Love the reflective aspect.

After noticing one arm was getting longer than the other after walking my 80lb goldendoodle, bought this and all of the sudden it seemed like she went to a charm school overnight. Didn't have to "acquaint" her before using and worked wonderful. The only fault I fond is the extra tether I believe you are supposed to attach to the collar. She tended to get her foot caught up in it when she would bend her head to sniff, but found didn't really need the extra tether.

This NO PULL/BARK-LESS dog collar is a GREAT BUY: it fits well (if you properly measure your dogs specifics) and is extremely well made; durable; nice looking and easily adjustable. The seller was so prompt and accommodating when my first order was just too big, they replaced it quickly and were very refreshing to work with!"Leilani" & I have been working on the level of training effectiveness for the past 6 1/2 years and that is "a work in- progress!" This makes it a gettable goal!HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!!

I have a 120 lb male Rottie, whom Ive trained to use a prong collar for the past 2 years. I never hired a professional trainer, but I trained him to the best of my ability and the prong did work TO AN EXTENT. My Rotties neck is very thick, and very strong, and there have been many instances where he has pulled me like a sled dog with prong collar and all, as if he didnt even have it on. After 2 years of this, I decided to get this head collar and it seems been a complete GAME CHANGER!! No longer is he pulling or lunging, and no longer do I have to exert myself unnecessarily. The first day he was angry, growling and pawing at it like crazy. The 2nd day he no longer growled, and just pawed at it a few times. On day 6 he paws at it a couple times but it’s definitely been amazing progress! My arm doesn’t hurt anymore after our walks, he's forced to pay attention to me more now because he no longer has the control. When you have a stubborn Rottweiler, the prong collar is a joke to him. This head collar on the other hand, has been a real God send. I still keep the prong on just in case we ever get into a situation where I have to get him off of another dog, but this head collar is what we will continue to use for his walks!

Looked good and fit well based on the size instructions. I ordered 2, one of them had a ring with a small sharp edge that ripped the material portion after 3 walks. Waste of money.

I liked the shape of the head harness of this No pull Head harness, I bought it when my Golden was still a puppy.Early In training I found that He walked better with the head harness than with a collar or a body harness. He is a puller and quite strong. Recently I was changing from one harness to the larger one, Size large. No Pull harnessi for large dogs. My dog is a Golden retriever. On the Second use the buckle broke.. It is too fragile for this size of halter, in my opinion. The center and side portions of the clip broke off immediately.I would like to return the product for replacement or return reimbursement. I need to find an ulternate product. In trying to share pictures, Unfortunately I could not get them to load.

I think originally I gave these a 5 star & I really liked these better than the Halti ..at first ..., both my dogs can escape these whenever they chose to , the strapping constantly needs to be retightened , it is nice and wide so it seems more comfortable on their snouts , the choker/tightener section that goes through the ring does not seem to tighten/slide through as it should when they Are excited and need to be stopped or turned. walking them on a really short leash seems to work but takes away their little bit of freedom
