Thus dog rake really does a great job at reaching the undercoat on our dog. The comb also has a nice grip.

A well designed tool made with quality materials. A deal at 3.99. Worked wonders and was a relief for my German Shepherd who was itchy from shedding her undercoat.
I love trying stuff

Exactly what I needed for my Australian Shepherd Chow Chow mix she pretty much has husky for so it's not so much the shedding it's the matted hair that makes it so difficult even just a pet her so this really helps when I get to haircut time especially in between haircuts as well good quality good price great hair removal excellent groomer prep easy to hold the only thing that scares a little bit is in the beginning but then just show them it and then they're fine and go light and easy it really is ease of use and works well

I have tried many brushes. I have a white cat that sheds so much- in the spring , I create several new cats, brushing him. The fur never stops!!!This brush is amazing, It literally gets all the loose fur… 4-5x more than any other brush I’ve used.

Update: I gave it another try since his mats were getting bad. Senior cat who doesn't groom much. As long as you avoid sensitive areas like behind the ears, it does cut the mats out and thins the undercoat, but be careful you don't get stuck on a mat and pull because it will pull from the root. You have to angle the blades just right to cut the mat. I still prefer the combs with the narrow teeth for cats.Original review: The teeth are way too wide apart on this comb. My cat's fur is very fine and gets little dreadlocks. I have an Oster brand deshedder where the teeth are set very close together and it actually will cut his tangles painlessly. This comb just gets stuck in the mats and it actually pulled out a chunk behind his ear which is now bald. The poor guy just let me do it without screaming and I feel terrible. I don't know if this is meant for big dogs, but be careful if you're using it on a cat! Look for the combs with the really small teeth.

This works for my dog’s coat. He is a mixed German shepherd breed. I was amazed at how much this helped.

These have worked really nicely so far for my two cats. One is a shorthair but the other is a longhair and is super fluffy. This brush has been amazing at keeping her matting under control and it gets more than some of the other undercoat brushes I’ve gotten before. It’s quite heavy (in a good solid way) and seems to be of really nice quality. Looking forward to seeing how it handles the remainder of the spring shed.

Perfect for my german shepherd and husky. Gets to the undercoat, and has reduced shedding. it's sturdy and is not sharp, very easy to use. My kids and I can safely use the brush on both dogs. The best dog brush I've found for dogs with thick coats and a undercoat, works perfectly. Great value as well!

This brush as reported will catch every knot, so be careful initially. I misplaced my dog’s previous brush, so I ordered this one and another one. I was careful initially when I first used this brush, as the teeth are aggressive. I didn’t know my dog had so many tangles in her hair, even though I would brush her at least twice a week with her old brush. I realize now, her old brush’s teeth were too short. My dog loves being brushed, and she is a husky, so she has lots of hair and sheds a lot. I’m careful while I’m using it, as I don’t want her to start disliking being brushed. My dog enjoys the gentle tug, and the brush removes lots of loose hair. Also, my dog’s coat, looks ten times better than it used too.I’ll repeat myself, be slow and careful while using this brush, but the results are well worth it.

This is a really good quality double sided de-shedding and de-matting grooming brush and at £13.99 a really good buy which will last you for years. It has a comfortable hand grip and the comb teeth are metal which also makes it easy to remove the hair that does come off your pet.I got this to use for my cat that is now coming up for 14 years old and so was getting some matted fur around the back end of her as she now struggles to clean round there and it really was amazing how much it helped and the amount that it picked up which you can see in the photo. One thing is you have to be quite gentle and not do too much all at once, they usually show signs that they have had enough so I then just left it and tried again later in the day. After a few days she looked a lot more smooth and shiny and she enjoyed the combing with purring until it got where she had had enough. I would recommend for any pet owner and would definitely buy this in future.

At the time of reviewing this costs £13.99 and I must say I absolutely love it. The colour of the grooming tool is really vibrant so when it's in my drawer it is really easy to put my hand to and spot between all my other stuff.I have a problem with my hands but with its no-slip rubber handles it makes my life alot easier and makes grooming my boy more enjoyable. When using this is cut out all my boys knots and tangles leaving his coat absolutely smooth, and because of its rounded inward rake I know it would do him no harm and infact it's very kind to his skin. He looks really beautiful now and he enjoyed every moment of it with ease.

Having a dog with short hair you would think he doesnt shed alot but its like living with a fur monster anywhere he goes he loves to shake tossing his fur loose everywhere so getting a shedding brush is a absolute must, using this brush your brushing his hair in the way they lay ( not opposite) taking the brush at first it looks like a medieval torture device but the dog doesnt feel anything at all if anything he becomes so relaxed he ends up falling asleep on me, all the hair i get off him is hair id expect for him to shed over the coming days so taking charge i now have a bag full of his hair and he looks beautiful as no more clumps of hair sitting on top waiting for him to loose it his fur is so soft and light & bright. The thing i noticed on this shedding tool is each side is different one has less 9 in total which is ideal to use on those easier wide spaces and then on the otherside you have 17 which is ideal for those smaller places to reach. As deshedders go id say this is on par with others and a good one to buy.
