I have a very long haired cat and her hair sheds like crazy and this is the ONLY style brush i have found that will go deep and get the long undercoat out and the hairs looking pretty and non tangled. Super easy to use and doesn't get stuck!

We have a long haired German Shepherd. This year I just couldn't get a handle on her shedding. I would use our pinbrush until I thought I got it all but there was still hair everywhere. This brush is a ROCKSTAR!I took about 15 minutes and brushed her mane only and got out more old hair that 1 hour with the pinbrush. This thing works like a dream on long haired shepherds.

I have now used this grooming brush several times and it does such a good job that it may be be best grooming tool ever for our oh-so-hairy dog. Part Australian Shepherd and heaven know what else, our dog's hair is thick and continues to get longer and longer without grooming. This device is like a lawn dethatcher. It pulls out the undercoat efficiently and the dog likes it. What is an ordeal with other tools is a breeze with this brush. Its teeth are spaced further apart on one side and I find it is helpful to use that side first, and when the brush goes through without snags, then I go to the side with more closely spaced teeth and end up with a fluffy and happy dog!

Nice brush. It's got a sturdy wood handle and the brush removes undercoat well.I've got a couple dogs that require very regular de-shedding. This does as good of a job as any brush I've tried.There was one slightly sharp part on the brush teeth. It probably wouldn't have done any damage, but I did file it down to make the brushing process as comfortable as possible.

I've got two dogs, one with short fur, the other with thick medium fur. This rake does absolutely nothing for my short haired dog. The medium fur, it detangles and rakes out tons of undercoat fur. It feels sturdy, well made and is comfortable in the hand. definitely a must have in your dog grooming arsenal!

This works very well on my dog that has a dense coat. Comfortable for me to use and he hasn't shown any discomfort when using this on him. He sheds A LOT so being able to find a brush that he will tolerate and sit for can be difficult.

I have used fur rakes like this one in the past, and have found that they work best on long haired pets. One of my dogs has longer hair and she sheds all the time. This works perfectly for removing the loose undercoat without much pulling and brushing. My dog with short fur hates this thing. It is just too sharp and scratchy. I have also used this to get matting out of my cats fur without issues. This rake is well made and should last a long time. Good purchase overall.

This is a very solid brush and would be good for even a larger dog. I'm using this on my cat and it really takes off a lot of fur that my usual brush does not get. I've started using this a few times a week, as if it did it every day i think she would be bald. Very well made, thick metal and wood.
