Works great for my long haired Ragdoll kitty as well as my Domestic short hair cat. Lots of loose hair gets cleared out of their coats, and snarls on the Ragdoll are removed with ease. Quality product and easy to use. I think it works better than the more expensive name brand I purchased previously.

I bought this with the intention of helping our 2 rabbits with their shedding. Unfortunately it just ran right through their fur with no effect. Either their fur is too fine or the tool just can not grip it. I did try it on our cat and dog and it worked great. If your pet has fine or silky fur keep looking otherwise this may help with those stubborn shedding clumps. It also came with minimal instruction for best use and practice.

I bought this to groom my 8 year old cat. She is a mixed breed and has a thick undercoat. Her fur became matted on her sides because she is overweight and can't clean herself properly.Well the first comb through grabbed onto a matted piece of hair and roughly tugged on her skin. I practically lifted her off the ground with the comb attached to her side. ( she is 20lbs) It didn't cut her but it wasn't sharp enough to cut through the clumps of fur. One matt was removed with this product but it wasn't without lots of aggressive pulling.Very disappointed.

I have an extremely fluffy, large (big as in big, not overweight) calico cat with huge paws with tufts of fur that grow around her toe beans, and a sort of mane that grows around her neck every winter like a fluffy collar. All that fur can get knotted, and that, it does!!Regular cat combs/brushes don’t do the trick for keeping her knot-free. I was desperate looking for a comb or brush for her type of cottony fluff when I found this product. Works wonders! It keeps her knot-free, doesn’t pull on her fur, and softens her coat. Worth the buy. Thanks!

I have purchased many dematting combs and this is the only one that workedIt is for my 19 year old cat who isn’t the best at grooming herself anymore and is sensitive to most combs and brushes touching herWas able to use it without any problems and got rid of the clumps easily
