I can't give them a lower rating than 5 because they were everything that they claimed to be, but note that these aren't magnetized in pairs, so half of them aren't magnetized one way and half are magnetized the other. They are all magnetized the same way, which is fine if they are all attached to objects that mount to metal, but not useful if you want to use them for things like cabinet doors.

Minimal holding power / magnetic strength. Good enough for a refrigerator magnet I suppose.

These magnets work OK, but they are not nearly as strong as others I have in this size class. At this size, you should barely be able to get them apart, but these separate easily. Basically, I would have to use 2 of these where one of my old magnets would suffice.I mainly use them for cabinet doors and putting on the back of things so they will stick to a metal surface. They are handy for this type of application because of the built in countersunk screw hole. Worth the cost, but barely.

These magnets work great. They are strong, and I like that they have a hole in the center. That is just what I was in need for.

Great magnets for small cabinet doors, refridge note/photo holders.3 of them are not strong enough to hold a basic 12 month calendar (12 page picture type) to fridge it will slide.

These DIYMAG Strong Neodymium Disc Magnets have poweful attraction and equal deflection if opposition is the purpose. I have used these magnets for several craft projects and am well pleased with the performance. Buy these things.

Tough little things! There a lot smaller than the photos suggest, maybe understanding the metric or decimal dimensions might have been a big help. But strong, trying to pull them off! Like I said , read the directions, then it’s just too simple.

Highlights - extremely strong, exactly as advertised!Warning - These magnets are extremely strong, and the material they are made of is essentially a ceramic. If the magnets contact each other without a cushion between them they may to chip, break or shatter. This is especially true if the magnets are allowed to attract each other without restriction e.g. pushing them closer until they fly together. Brittleness is a characteristic of all neodymium magnets, use with caution. My experience - I bought a set of these magnets nearly three years ago. They have stood the test of time (correct handling is required). I originally bought the magnets to hold my shower curtain down. They worked perfectly for that purpose. I did wrap them in electrical tape first so they wouldn't mark up the tub. This had the added benefit of reducing their strength slightly - they are very strong. I found numerous additional uses for the remaining magnets throughout my home.I am writing my review today, three years later, because I have found myself in need of more magnets to organize my shop.

Powerful magnets! While playing with them in my hands, one of the magnets snapped back onto the pile and shattered and cut my finger. Be very careful. Their adhesion is incredible and they work incredible as a door stop for some heavy closet doors that I built. One thing to note, on one side of the magnets, they have a counter sink for the screws that are included. The issue, however, is that the magnets do not attract on the counter sink face when faced with another counter sink face. They repel in this way. For that reason, I needed to find some flat headed screws to attach one magnet in the reverse way. I then used some felt furniture adhesive pads with a hole punched in the middle to allow for the screw to dampen the doors so it's not a hard hit. They worked great for my project!

Bought these for a project thinking I’d need all 10 to hold things together. Boy was I wrong. One is almost too much. The instructions provided mention not to get your fingers between two of these. Heed these instructions! Little buggers are way more powerful than I would have expected in all the good ways.As per the instructions, they are brittle, so don’t overtighten the screws when mounting, they do break.Fun to mess around with, they’re so strong you can use them to find screws in drywall (to locate studs) in a house 3 doors down. I found metal in my wall because I put the box 3” away and it slid across the counter and stuck to the wall.Love these little things, but now I have 8 to spare...
