They are deceptively strong for their size. I needed strong, flat magnets to make a new window covering on our metal door. I sewed in three across the top and they do an excellent job. The fabric is very thick and lined too. When pulling two magnets out they were so strong that they pulled out of my hand and back to the others. That's when a couple broke. Overall, they are great and just what I needed.

These rare earth magnets function perfectly! Good strong magnetic pull. It's perfect for mounting my dragon light in my dragon's enclosure.

I loved how strong and sturdy these magnets are but when they came they were very very small. It might say the measurements but the picture makes it look much bigger. Also within about a half an hour of opening them, one if the magnets broke. I still think that if you just need small magnets it's a very good buy. I'm still getting them again but I will just get a bigger pack and tape it together.

Super strong magnets. I would take one off the pile and it would pull it back from a good distance. Amazing pull. However any clashing and magnetic pull makes them break. I'd buy them again but I'm concerned about losing 5 of the magnets trying to get them apart.

Arrrived in good condition. Only one magnet was very slightly chipped at one end. Although as I haven't separated out all of them yet, I can only go by what I can see and the ones I've used. I was very careful to slide them off as instructed and did not have any trouble with them.I used glued mine to the plastic valance on my faux wood blinds and the magnets stick nicely to the metal header for my levolor blinds. much better than the plastic clips that kept falling off. I only needed to use 3 magnets for a 6' length so I have lots left over. Very happy with my purchase. I used Gorilla glue to stick them on as I don't think that the adhesive strips would hold for years as I need (blinds are in a rental unit).

These are excellent! Very strong! I used these to make a glass window cover for my iron door. These worked under the fabric and had a strong magnetic hold to the door. I highly recommend

These magnets a the best fridge magnets for holding important notes/pictures/mail/reminders/etc in the proper spots on a normal fridge. They are strong enough to stay on the fridge door that is used hourly in a day and surprise-surprise will keep the document from blowing away. This saves a lot of time looking and recovering documents that are dropped by cheap "pretend-magnets".

Over the years I have used many, many neodymium magnets for various applications and these are without a doubt the weakest magnetically I have ever purchased.

My expectations may have been higher but these don’t seem to be as strong as I wished for. Might be to do with the thickness. I’m not a magnet expert.

I bought these to see if they're strong enough to hold kitchen knives when embedded in wood. Some observations:- When covered with wood veneer (~1/40" thick), holding strength was a bit excessive for kitchen knives -- knives would slap against the bar and were unnecessarily difficult to remove. However, this setup is useful in the workshop.- When covered with a strip of wood 1/16" thick, they have no problem holding an 8" German-style chef knife vertical, with a good balance between holding strength and ease of removal.- When covered with 1/8" thick wood, I found holding strength insufficient for heavier knives but good for smaller items in the shop (e.g. rulers, hex keys, etc.)In all cases, the magnets were mortised flush into a piece of wood and epoxied in place, with the wood covering then epoxied or glued over top. It is possible for a loose trapped rare earth magnet to pull through a veneer covering, hence why each is epoxied; I didn't bother trying the supplied double-stick tape. One of the magnets arrived broken, but this was not an issue for my application.

Are you a sommelier in all things sticky? Do you get a little gitty about duct tapes, gorilla glues and the like? Then GREAT news, these things are like reusable super-glue that is EXTREMELY fragile and require care to avoid pointy ends going into your fleshy parts. If you read that and are a little freaked out that you might forget, don't worry the magnet pack comes with a warning help remind you that magnets stick to stuff and break...whew!If you know a bit about magnets or the faux stuff then be assured this is the real deal. They are Neodymium and are incredibly strong and more importantly hold their properties in all kinds of climates for long long long periods of time.IF YOU DON'T KNOW, NOW YOU KNOW:-Keep away from credit cards and electronics, unless you like to replace stuff.-Compared to other offerings I found in the browsing jungles of the Amazon these were almost the best and really make more sense than the best in a lot of ways.-You CAN slide them apart but you CANNOT pry them apart, less you hurt yourself. Remember magnets are strong in situations that require pull strength but weak on slide strength so use that information to keep them from shattering and keep you from a mess or worse. If you want more durable magnets or something your kid can play with then these are Definitely not the right choice. If you just want to save some money you can get smaller or less magnetic magnets but like less magnetic people you might be left wanting.
