I am a very serious fish keeper with thousands of gallons worth of tanks, and still continuing to add to the collection as the years go on, and every single time without fail this is my go to lid, I keep a lot of fish that are known for jumping out of tanks and this thing remains secure and serves the purpose every time I purchase one for another tank

I like the product and it has been turtle-approved as well. It can withstand the heat lamp and it can be cut in areas for the wires to go through. The only reason why I give it a 4 stars is because of how long it took to assemble it especially if you want it cut straight and stretched out all the way.

I was not dismayed by a few negative reviews & decided to give this product a try. So glad I did! The instructions & video are not perfect per se but they're enough in order to put this lid together. It took me about 15 minutes to install it & I even had to configure it in order to set the filter in place. The tank now has a clean finished look. I would definitely recommend this product! Take your time, watch the video & follow instructions several times if needed.

It's difficult to assemble, and the instructional video is in chinese. Once I did manage to assemble it, it falls apart when I try to lift it up off the tank. The lid part thats supposed to lift up is the mesh sandwiched between a magnetic strip and plastic strip. These are supposed to snap together to keep the mesh in place but every time I lift it up to feed my fish the two layers fall apart, the mesh falls out, and I have to snap them back together. It does provide more coverage than the glass top I was using previously, but it's such a pain to use.

I like the idea of being able to just poor the water right into the fish tank when replacing the water, but I found it to be a bit flimsy, and harder to set up then I expected. Thus why I gave it 3 stars. But the delivery was fast.

even though im still using it cuz i need the cover. this was the most annoy thing on the planet.. the magnetic part does not close easily once you put the mish through it.. that is my biggest issue.. and the side "holders" do absolutely nothing because they dont stay on and break off the minute you try to move the whole thing if you want to feed the turtle.. i'm using it even though its not fully secured because i need sth to protect the turtle from my toddler and his crazy hands. if i do find sth better i will be throwing this in the garbageUpdate found a better cover in walmart and threw this in the trash where it belongs!!!!!!

So in theory this product should work .. unfortunately the clips do not clip down on the netting and to the magnets. I ended up sewing the magnets to the netting to make the cover.
