Didn’t like the bungee or the clip that is on it. I don’t like having a bungee cord attached to my hook. It can snap back and break my mask or cause other issues. A rope works much better. It doesn’t have any elastic or snapback ability. The clip does not work very well in the sense that is extremely hard to use compared to a double end snap ring. No thanks on this product. I bought a different one. that was also half the price

You need to reef hook when diving in the Maldives, very strong currents there. The hook works great, and the cable is sturdy which you need! My only negative comment is the cable could be a little longer as you cannot inflate your vest to get completely vertical in the water which is more comfortable.

I’d never needed a hook before for diving and bought this one for a liveaboard trip to Maldives. Worked well- was portable enough and did the job.

very easy to use, great product. Only be careful how you storage it because the hook is sharp.

I just received this so I have no real data to share. It does seem like the hook will be fine but the spiral lanyard is made of a plastic type material. I will probably have to replace that lanyard with a stronger material next season.
