When I obtained my solo/self-reliant diver certificate, the quarries I visit require a float with my name on it to indicate that I am in the water. I looked for a vibrant, large float to fit that requirement and came across this product. The price was perfect and it sounded impressive and I was surprised when it arrived and how large, sturdy, and vibrant this was and it was perfect for my needs. Easy to use and was very well made and will last me for year. How note, I do not believe the flag itself is large enough to qualify as a 'dive flag' legally, at least not in Michigan, check you local laws, but it's perfect for allowing others to see that you're in that water for areas without boatsIf you're a free diver or an apnea diver, the handles are perfect for setting you dive or observing your other divers.

This made the perfect marker for our turnaround point for a boat race. Looks as advertised and was easily visible from far away.

I am a mermaid instructor & the bouy is perfect when taking my students to open water. Size & quality is great! Lightweight, plenty of storage for gear, drains & dries quickly. Note: there is no dive line so you will purchase that separately.

Using for pre-stage tanks on shore dive. Had 6 hanging with no issues staying afloat. It is a big sail if windy conditions so need bigger anchor. Seems well made to stand up to abuse in ocean.

I wasn't too happy with the flag holder so I ended up rigging up some cord to tie it to the buoy to make sure I never lose it. Everything else on it is great! Lots of D rings, and handles

Works well, but have a few design problems. The flag and the pvc pipe was a little flimsy. There’s a wire running across inside the stitches of the flag and the tips are very sharp. It could easily scratch or poke someone or even worse poke a hole in the buoy itself when stowing inside.The flag holder itself is not deep enough for the pvc pipe flag holder to go all the way in. On a windy day or when the waves are strong, it could easily pop out.The buoy also loses air overtime, I had to inflate the buoy every 3 days or so. Checked the deflate valve and it didn’t seem like there’s any leaks. Could be faulty stitches somewhere but it didn’t hold air long term.

The buoy is good quality but the flag insertion point is a design flaw. Comes out of buoy in wind. Also, the flag is too small. It doesn’t meet 14 x 16 standard. Emailed company and got no answer. My recommendation is to look elsewhere. Don’t buy this.
