Plug one end with your HDMI cable. Plug the other end into your graphics card. Presto! Both screens act as one large screen! Super easy, super nice, super results. Just make sure your graphics card card do this! Piece of cake!

It does what it's supposed to (converts a display port output to HDMI while maintaining 4k resolution) and for cheaper than other adapters that can only do 1080p. Granted, it's limited to 30Hz @ 4k, but anyone that needs a faster refresh rate is going to find a better solution than having to use an adapter. just saying...I've only had it plugged in for 1 full day, but the build quality does give me some confidence that it won't crap the bed after a week or so (and I'll update if it does.) It feels solid with nice ports/plugs that fit where they're supposed to nice and snug. The braided cable and rubbery plastic bits are a nice touch, too.So far, I'm impressed, especially when the price is considered.

Not sure what happened it just stopped working after a few months. With the adapter plugged in the second monitor would only display the lowest resolution, all other options were grayed out. I spent several hours trying to figure out the culprit, then I changed out with a new display port to HDMI cable and the second monitor started displaying the correct resolution again again.

For what is ultimately a workaround, this worked fine. I really dislike adaptors or dongles of any kind, but they did the trick. Simply one more connection that might fail in the future.
