Seems to work fine, doesn't wiggle around, has braiding around the cable to help resist the times cords eventually start to only work in certain positions before it stops working completely. I would just say be mindful your device has a MINI DP port, specifically, and not a micro HDMI, they are not interchangeable.Also be mindful what frame rates your devices are running at. HDMI tends not to be as high as DP, so if you're used to running higher frames on your laptop and you connect to lower refresh rate TV, you can't exceed the refresh rate of the weaker device, but the cord bottlenecks at 60 Hz (30 Hz at 4k) as well. you can get better performance deliberately running at a lower refresh rate though, so make of that what you will.Overall satisfied while using a fairly lower end laptop.

I had need for just this device when I happened across this -- yes, really! I have 2 Lenovos, one with docking and one without. WIthout, plugged this device in and was able to get the 1080P@60Hz I needed. The look is modern, the cable is beefy enough, not flimsy. Solid connection and works error-free.

I needed a way to hook HDMI to my old Lenovo thinkpad. This was the ticket. The laptop had a display port but no HDMI. I lugged this adapter into the laptop, an HDMI cable into the adapter and then the HDMI into a 32” tv and it worked wonderfully. It made working from home way better!!This adapter is well made and will last a long time.
