Good size for a small area, we used it to light up a 20 x 20 room and it worked great with the correct lighting. There were some gaps in the mirror placement but this was acceptable considering the price. Since the base is styrofoam you do have to be gentle with it otherwise the disco ball could dent. We suspended it from a disco ball spinner with lights and pointed several lights at it to create a disco effect, it worked great!
