This is a nice disco ball. Perfect for a smaller room.Weight is nice and the mirrors are real glass, very reflective. I also love that it comes with extra mirrors in case any fall off or are damaged.Mine was a little loose as in the nut on the top bolt had the be tightened. I don't know how it was made so I just hand-tightened to avoid damaging it. It's a really nice looking ball and I'm happy with it. Keep the box for safe storage while not in use.

I was actually expecting this disco ball to be bigger, but this is actually a pretty good size and seems to be made very well. I like that the piece that you use to hang it is attached really well. It doesn't feel like it'll be coming unattached anytime soon, and when it's hung up the light, whether it's sunlight or light from the lamps, catches it perfectly making the room sparkle. It also includes a strip of disco stickers to replace any that may fall off. After 2 months of hanging in my office this disco ball is still fully intact.

I purchased this disco ball to add a touch of y2k to my house. It’s the perfect size to create that classic party vibe, and the mirrors reflect light beautifully, filling the room with dazzling patterns. My daughter really liked how the disco ball adds a nice touch to her room. It also comes with extra adhesive mirrors, which my daughter thought was neat in case any fell off. The only downside is that it feels a bit cheap.

I like this ball, the size is good enough for a bigger room. It's well made and the construction is solid. It reflects the light correctly, you have to find the right angle for the spotlight.It does not bring a motor, so if you want it to spin (the desirable mode) you will need to buy it separately. I highly recommend a motor to get the full potential of a mirror ball. Just make sure you reinforce the hook when you install a motor on it, the inside is foam (as it is supposed to be) so the hook can get loose with time when rotating. It brings replacement mirrors in case some fall, but this is well constructed, I dont think any will unless you are constantly moving it from place to place, and if that's the case and one falls, you have 15 more to replace them with.Happy with the purchase, this ball takes me back...he he.

This 8-inch disco ball is legit! It's well crafted and sturdy, with actual glass tiles that give it an authentic and high-quality look. I play in a disco band, so I'm very familiar with disco balls. This disco ball is very much like the larger ones we set up and use for all our shows. Real disco balls are covered with many square pieces of a glass mirror which are glued or attached to a ball which is usually made of styrofoam, and that is exactly how this disco ball is made.The only thing which concerns me somewhat is the hanger loop. It seems fine for hanging the ball up, but if you want to put it on a motorized hanger which turns it, there might be a risk of the hanger coming unscrewed and the ball dropping to the floor. The loop seems very loose, and it turns around easily. There is a nut on the shaft which is coming out of the ball, and when I try tightening it, it starts to deform the ball somewhat. This ball might be better as a decoration, and less ideal as a functional mirror ball intended to constantly rotate and reflect light around a room.
