I got this to align my Ridgid table saw that I’ve had for years. This one comes with everything you need and fits well in the miter track for the R4512 table saw. The instructions were clear enough and I was quickly able to get my table aligned my loosening the mounting bolts and adjusting using this gauge until it was within a few hundredths tolerance.I flipped the gauge around and then aligned my fence as well. I noticed immediate improvements in cutting. No more pinching or friction when cutting. This led to cleaner and easier cuts with little to no burning. The only burn marks were really due to my pausing during the cut.Overall, I don’t know what I was thinking not getting one of these earlier. My projects are turning out so much better because of this.

No complaints at all on it. I was able to determine that I had a bad saw blade. That’s why I ordered it

Machining of miter bar guides was preciseNd function well. Instructions are difficult to read do to poor translation, but assembly is obvious. .

I have wanted a dial indicator to use with several tools around the shop. This one is well made, measures correctly and is easy to read. The miter bar is 3/4" inch and it fits most of the miter slots on my tools, router table, bandsaw, etc. I have an older (vintage?) Craftsman and it fits one of the slots, but not the other. The included miter bar has set screws, so it could have been made smaller with the set screws used for fine adjustment up to the full 3/4" size.As far as using the indicator, I have not had any issues. I've watched various online videos of setup and maintenance tasks, which proved more useful than the included instructions. The included case is nice as well for protecting the dial gauge between uses, but it only holds the gauge. The miter bar and crosspiece do not fit, nor are there any spots for holding the few included toolspieces. It's not a big deal, but it would be nice if all of the pieces could be stored together.Overall, it still seems like a good value for a precision tool.

I have been using a home made solution for many years to align my table saw blade and fence. It worked just, but was temperamental and hard to use. I finally decided to upgrade to a dedicated unit and this caught my eye. It's a simple device, really. A couple of machined aluminum bars, a digital dial gauge and some hardware. It you have not used a device like this in the past, you might be at a loss on how everything goes together and is used. I would not look to the printed instructions for much help. You are much better off going to YouTube to find some tutorials. The bars seem well made and flat and true. I am not a huge fan of digital indicators for testing run out and alignment, as an analog dial is much easier to get a sense of scale as the needle sweeps. I was able to get this unit setup and my table saw dialed in without too much issue. The only issue I have with this, as others have mentioned, is using it always seems to lead to more work as you realize just how far out your blade is running! LOL!

If you are a fine woodworker and need precise measurements down to the mm then you will be looking elsewhere. If you are like me and need your measurements to be close enough to get you to a decent build then this is a great little gauge. It is well constructed and goes together fairly easily if you are mechanically inclined. Don't waste your time with the instructions. Go on line for videos or use a bit of trial and error to get comfortable.

This is a must-have gauge for any woodworking shop and at this price you can't beat it. Accurate and easy to use. Would recommend.
