This is a non-contact digital tachometer with stable performance. Measuring range from 2.5RPM to 99999 RPM and high resolution of 0.1RPM or 1RPM.
Auto Save Function
After the measurement, the measured maximum value, minimum value and the last value are automatically stored in the instrument, and can be viewed by pressing the memory key.
Low Battery Reminder
The tachometer uses 1*9V 6F22 battery (not included). When the battery voltage is lower than 4V, a power symbol will appear on the right side of the display to remind you to replace the battery.
HD Large Screen
The tachometer adopts a backlit high-definition large screen, digital display, clear reading, easy measurement, and convenient use.

broken on arrival, screen locked on 700,000rpm no matter what, sensor dose not illuminate, dose not function. Don't waste you money or time, buy something better made that is less likely to be DOA.

At first I couldn't get any readings and wondered if the item was inoperable. After several tries it started responding. it seemed that reduced ambient light was important. I had to create significant shade to get any response at all, and even so, it took more than one try to get it to settle on a number reading that made sense. In the end I was satisfied with an accurate reading. What is lacking here is more detailed instructions in order to rule out factors that could prevent quick and accurate results. Maybe something isn't right with my unit?? I could not get the memory function to work at all?

Not sure what I expected for the price. Wanted an RPM meter for my lathe, mill, and CNC. Spindel speed set for 12000, meter reads close to 14000, set to 6000, meter reads 7500.

Ce tachomètre m'a été très utile pour calibrer et synchroniser la vitesse de rotation des hélices de mes deux moteurs d'avion téléguidé. De plus, il permet d'ajuster précisément la poussée différentielle (differential thrust) de chaque moteur. Je vous recommande d'installer un autocollant réfléchissant sur l'extrémité du disque en rotation à mesurer pour obtenir une lecture de RPM dès plus précise. This is easy to use the relective tape helps monitor the revolutions. Because I was measuring revs. of a oilly shaft I cleaned the surface and used a chalk mark. The reading were satisfactory
