Man what a deal! A set of digital calipers for nine bucks after tax outstanding! But what makes it really impressive is the fact that it not only works at a $9 price point but it is accurate down to thousands of an inch I can't stress enough when you're dealing with things or material that small/thin how important it is to be precise when a thousandth of an inch can be the difference between success or failure in this thing does it for $9!! I don't think I've ever used so many exclamation points in a review before LOL it looks great it's easily readable it seems to be built well and it feels fairly sturdy. I can't speak to the battery life because I haven't had it long enough yet to know how good it is battery wise but I will say this it comes with the battery and on top of that it comes with an extra battery for when that one runs out which I think is very generous again at $9 LOL I mean how much does a watch battery cost? Could you get two of them with this thing I'm just very happy with my purchase I love this product all the way around. Though there is one feature I'm not the biggest fan of but it would not sway me from making the same decision again, but whenever you move the caliper so say you have it turned off and then you open it up it automatically turns itself on and gives you the reading which is actually kind of cool in its own way, but this thing reads all the way down to 0.1 mm so you can move it in such a way that it doesn't even open but if it feels the movement it's turning on and I'm not saying like you can shake it around in your hand you know whatever no problem but if you put the slightest amount of pressure in between those teeth even if it's so small you can't see the opening it can feel it and will turn on, but if anything I think that speaks again to how good/cool this is It's accurate and can pick up the tiniest amount of space / distance

I should have purchased one of these a long time ago. So many things I’ve struggled to measure and this make it so simple. Product is very well made, easy to use and perfect for a DIY’er like me. Not sure I could recommend if you’re doing scientifically critical measurement work but it sure does the job around the house and garage. Also comes with an extra battery - how many products do that these days? Excellent value for the low cost. I highly recommend.

If you don't need to measure thousandths of an inch, these calipers are great, I like that it can switch between mm and inches. The zero feature works well also.You have to keep in mind that it is made plastic and needs to be handled with care.

This is a great measuring tool which I keep on my desk and I keep one in my traveling tool box. I have a set of Starrett measuring tools which I use when making pieces. This does a great job for a quick accurate measurement at a great price. I dont have to worry about loosing my $200 Starrett caliper. I would buy again.

I bought this because it was inexpensive and I need something to measure gemstones to make mountings for them. And there are various other things, metric or English units, such as hardware items and furniture and car parts, that it's just nice to be able to slap a caliper on and take a measurement of right then and there. This unit is a little large and I'd prefer one that's physically smaller. But the price was right, it works great, and it meets my current needs. It seems accurate enough, in under 10mm range, when I checked its results against some gemstones that had already been measured with higher grade calipers. This was affordable and it comes with a nice storage & carrying case. I recommend it.
