This was so easy to put together and looks nice. It’s a little stiff when switching to a bed, but it feels heavy and durable.

This is a sturdy futon frame which holds my mattress as described. Now that I have it assembled, I can say I am satisfied, but the assembly was a bit tricky.Several parts do not match up with the illustrations of those parts in the instructions and with part Q in particular, that affected how the parts could be put together. From the hardware pack, there were 4 parts that never got used and I had to make use of fully half the extra parts side to actually be able to put this together.By the time I was done, I had the sense that the instructions, hardware pack, and frame parts may have all been from different versions or generations of the model. Deductive reasoning and intuition prevailed, but be aware that if you purchase this item, you may have to call on your furniture assembly superpowers. Once you get it figured out, it seems a worthwhile purchase so far.

The futon frame is okay, there is no complaint on the company brand but this type of model is not suitable to sit comfy. It is good for students for temporary use, like can be used as a bed frame, when you use a mattress.But, when it turns into sofa, it is quite hard to sit. You might get back pain if there are cushions as well.We used for four months, I was pregnant and I was struggling to sit straight since there is a slope when it turn into sofa.So, it is better used as a bed frame.The red flag is assembling. It is quite hard to assemble since there are lot of tiny pieces and large ones. May be two or three people can join to make it easy.

We’ve had this futon now for a few months and I have to say, it has been amazing so far! Our 90lb dog gets zoomies inside and runs around and jumps all over it when it’s in couch mode, and it never creaks, cracks or anything like that! I’ve had people sleep comfortably on it in couch mode and bed mode (6’ tall and under) and no one has had any complaints about comfort! Assembly took a while to do alone but that’s expected! Purchasing this frame and a mattress was so much cheaper than purchasing a brand new pull out couch, and I’m genuinely very impressed with the quality for value of this frame! Recommended for sure!

Easy assembly and tools needed included, also included some extra bolts in case one was lost or is needed later. So far it is working perfectly for us as a replacement for out RV couch.

This is a solid economy choice for dorm rooms or studio apartments (or anyone who is looking for an inexpensive alternative to a wood futon frame).I assembled it by myself in about 2.5 hours. It took a bit longer than expected since the Q pieces that were in the box did not match the picture in the manual, so I had to sort of wing it with that part, which meant installing and reinstalling them several times. The box comes with a wrench and two hex wrenches, but you need to provide your own standard-sized Phillips screwdriver (manual only) and pair of scissors to fight your way past the zip ties and packaging on the accessories packets. I recommend spreading out a blanket on the floor and laying out each piece, all of the tools, and all of the nuts, bolts, and screws so they are easily accessible and you can see them if they try to roll away (which they will).Once assembled, the frame is light-ish weight - light enough that I could slide it around by myself to position it before adding the mattress. I have a six-inch futon mattress and it works fine. The little metal thingies that hold it in place and keep it from slipping work well with the deeper mattress.This, like all futons, is very low, so I added eight-inch risers (bought from Amazon) under each leg and they work great. They do not support the center leg so it looks stupid hanging there and I might purchase another set just to even things out. If you do add risers, Roomba will be able to fit to vacuum under the futon, which is a huge plus for me since I have pets who shed ... a lot.Overall, this is great if you want something that looks modern and sleek and that will hold your mattress without breaking the bank. It's also a great alternative to wood for people with pets who treat exposed wood as chew toys.

Overall not bad for the price. It seems pretty sturdy once fully assembled. The picture is of it with the mattress purchased separately and dressed up.The assembly was not easy. It went smooth for a while. Then we ran into parts that the holes were not threaded for the screws. It was very difficult to get these screws in without cross threading them. Other than that the assembly was not bad.
