I love having my landscaping Lights on a wifi timer. I can turn them on and off as I want or put them on a schedule. It couldn't be simpler.

I’m having an issue keeping multiple users connected. I had one cell phone connected fine, I was able to connect the second cell phone, but then the first cell phone deleted the transformer. Then when I got the transformer back into the app again, it deleted the other phone again. I don’t know what’s going wrong here but it’s frustrating. You should be able to have multiple users with different cell phones as per the instructions. Otherwise, it seems to be fine. This is my only issue. It may have to be returned if it doesn’t get better.

Overall, the product seemed very good with 3 independent channels, 300W capacity and wifi control. The price is also very good for those features.Could not get this unit to connect to our home wifi, even when the bandwidth was changed to 2.4 GHz.The instructions really need a lot of help.Again, this would be a great product, if only I could get it connected to the wifi network.

when my old 70 watt transformer finally went out i found this one and couldn't be happier. i use it to run all the landscape lighting in the yard and still have many more watts left incase we want to add more, plus the Alex integration is awesome. so now instead of coming on and off whenever the weather gets dark and gloomy they come on and off a schedule or when i ask her to turn them on. the app setup was easy, but some may find it a little confusing. all in all a great product!

device is well packaged and comes with mounting screws and instructions. the exterior is clean, and having the indicator lights on the outside will make it easier to visually inspect if needed. Minor quibble, but there is no template for the mounting screws, something that could easily be included to make installation a little simpler.the connectors for the landscape wire are at the bottom of the case and pretty much exposed to the elements. I have some higher guage wire running my lights and it was a pretty tight fit getting the wires into the connector. I have another vendors smart landscape transformer for my front yard and the connectors are larger and a bit more protected from the elements fwiw so this is one area that for me is another less than 5 star experience is the app. there's a qr code to make it easy to find and install. setting up an account is normal. when you pick the wifi router from your phone, it suggests switching to a 2.4ghz channel. in my setup I have a mesh router that does bith 2.4 and 5 with the same SSID so I was briefly stumped until I saw an option to ignore this warning in smaller fonts. then it connected immediately.syncing with my Alexa took a bit more finagling. the instructions weren't clear and ultimately I had to maneuver to a screen that enabled me to link the accounts. once I found that 4 devices were added to my Alexa- the transformer itself and the 3 separate landscape lines, so it gave full control to the Alexa app.there's a warning online that if you change a device name in the smart life app you'll have to redirect with Alexa (or google) but I found the name immediately updated in Alexa when I changed it in smart life which was good. control from Alexa at that point worked smoothly including incorporating it in routines.finally the app is supposed to show you the watts being drawn on the line. I have this on my other device and it's useful to see how much your light are going to cost you as well as ensuring you don't have more than the system can handle. that was a bigger issue before leds took over but it's still nice to be able to see.however all I've found in the app so far is a cumulative KWh count, so it's kind of useless when trying to check for a line that is probably less than 75 watts total.the app also advertises you can control the 12 or 14 volt lines directly. given they are hardwired on the bottom I'm not sure how that would work but I don't see an option to control that.so overall a decent value smart transformer with a few areas for improvement.

This product is very useful if you want to have flexible programing for your landscaping lights. You can program each output to turn on and off at a specific time or at dusk/dawn with the provided app. Quite handy.It doesn't buzz like other older products, and since it doesn't have a mechanical timer, it doesn't tick either.

I purchased this 3 zone transformer to power some fence lighting and to have an extra zone for some future landscape lighting. The transformer works as expected and is easy to connect to wifi. The app allowed me to set up a lighting schedule and can even be set up to turn the lights on at sunset and off at sunrise, or any time between. It mounts easily with 2 screws and plugs into a standard 120 volt outlet. I would definitely recommend this transformer.

Easy to use, works well. Expect if you loose power to have to go turn it all back on though each time.
