I am getting old and have trouble switching on and off the light in my bedroom. This particular lamp has sentimental value for me as it belonged to my grandmother so I don’t want to simply replace it. Being able to convert it to an extended switch that also dims the light is so nice. No more painful fumbling with arthritic fingers on the dark! Thanks!

This dimmer switch is super easy to install and it works very well. I only wish is that it had a small led light on the device which would make it super easy to find in the dark.

I first bought this dimmer in November 2020 (for $16) and the aforementioned dimmer at the same time and wound up using the latter first, making this the spare. However if it is like the Lutron, then it will be great because…Personal pros-The “snap” the switch makes when powered on and off is a helpful audio cue since, at the lowest setting, my table lamp appears to be completely off.-Compact, durable, comfortable to hold and with a large but smooth slider, these dimmers have lasted me at least three years and show no signs of slowing down. The slip-resistant backing also keeps them snugly in place, even at odd angles.-The cable is long enough for me to easily operate the lights remotely from several feet away.-The sliding scale allows for a variety of brightness settings, from candlelight to blindingly bright! The dimmer settings make my room so warm and cozy that I have to be careful not to fall asleep with the lights on!Personal cons:-It would be nice if the angle of the dimmer cord could be adjusted but this is a personal preference and does not impede use and/or function of the dimmer.Reliable, movable, easy to use and allowing for a variety of brightness settings with a tradeoff of the extension cord being at a single position, the “DEWENWILS Table Top Inline Dimmer Switch and Warm Dimmable LED Light Bulb Set for Lamp, Full Range Slide Control, 6.6 ft Extension Cord, UL Listed, White” are ostensibly an easy 4/5 stars!

I recently purchased this dimmer switch for my lamp and I absolutely love it. It works great and easily turns my lamp into a dimmable light source. I mounted it to the side of my nightstand using foam mounting tape, which was a quick and easy installation process.However, the bulb that came with the product didn't work properly. Whenever I tried to dim the light, it flickered like crazy, which was really annoying. Luckily, I already had another LED lightbulb at home, which worked perfectly fine with the switch. So, it wasn't a big issue for me.Occasionally, I also noticed that the light would gently flicker. But, it didn't happen often and all I had to do was slightly adjust the dial to stop it from flickering.Overall, I think this is a great value product that is very easy to install and use. Despite the issue with the bulb that came with it, I'm very happy with my purchase and would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for an affordable and effective dimmer switch.

My brother had these sliding switches to dim lights in his apartment. I thought they were great and wanted to get some for myself! When I watch TV - the lamp shade reflects off the screen. Great to be able to dim it without having to even get out of my chair.Added bonus, I did not know they came with an LED lightbulb - a pleasant surprise indeed! They work great, I keep the remote next to me - (sorry if I sound lazy) but I don't have to get up to turn the lights off and on, I can just with the touch of a button, slide to the brightness I want and also turn off the lamp with the switch rather than having to physically turn it off on the lamp.The other great benefit of these switches is they work with all kinds of bulbs, incadescent as well as LED.Basically I'm a happy camper!

What an amazing little gadget. I had one of these years ago and it was lower quality but I remember ow how much I love it. It helps in those wee hours when one doesn't want nor desire the harsh bright light of the normal room light. The control sits beneath one of my pillows, out of sight but easy enough to reach, night or day.

This dimmer is simple and easy to install. The switch is on a cord that is plenty long enough (5+- ft) to reach from the outlet to our nightstands.I ordered one, at first, then a second after deciding I liked it. They came with their own LED bulbs, but I didn’t need them. They’re too cool of a color for a nightstand light, so I just installed them elsewhere in the house.There was some flickering early on, but it seems to have subsided (?). This may be because it is installed on a touch lamp (the floor lamp never flickered). At first, I would have to sweep the switch a few times to find the “sweet spot” where there was no flickering.I haven’t had the flickering issue for a while, and there has never been any humming. The switches work as I expected. I’m pleased with the purchase.
