Sensors work, just not for my fixtures which have a very deep housing around the sockets, so the sensors think it's constantly dark out. I need to find a different way to get dusk to dawn illumination.

Perfect for what I needed. I installed 4 of these on the outside of my garage. They turn on at dusk and turn off at dawn. Just screw in your bulb into the socket and you are good to go. That simple.

Works great never had to ajuste it. The only thing is that they are a little long so now the bulbs stick out. No big deal though.

It's wonderful to have these things turn my lights on as the sun sets and turn them back off after the sun rises. No timer to deal with, no adjustments required due to daylight savings, and no more manually flipping light switches. This product is simple and it works perfectly.

These looked great and did not distract from my outdoor fixtures and now all my outdoor house light go on and off without me going anything. I installed switch covers on these lights so nobody touches them anymore.

My last porch lights were equipped with dusk to dawn light and motion sensors. They quit functioning properly after 5-6 years and some lights often stayed on during the day or failed to come on at dusk.When replacing these porch lights I did NOT purchase lights with sensors, but instead chose to purchase these "add-on" sensors. They are affordable and if they stop functioning I can easily replace them as necessary. They are working great for me so far. Note that my porch light shades are clear glass.

It works as intended, great for a porch light but one thing that bothers me is that you cannot adjust what side the sensor is looking at. So, if tightening the sensor faces a dark side of the porch, it will never turn off. Worked well for two lights but I'm stuck with one.
