As good quality as anything from the big hardware stores. Good price and east to get from Amazom.

I needed to fix a lamp. This worked perfectly. Plus, I like the sliding on/off rather than the one you twist.

Fit great on the lamp's pipe fitting and works fine. I am worried that when it comes to replace the light bulb it may unscrew from the lamp as there is no set screw to lock it onto the base like the socket I was replacing, but, its an LED bulb so that won't be an issue for years.

I used this to replace a faulty table lamp switch. Onc the old one was off, this went on easily. The quality feels pretty good, not super strong, but good enough for a standard table lamp. The switch works simply and well. Nice and inexpensive

The socket replaced a decades old one that had failed. No problems!

Happy with these replacement’s. Installation took less than 5 minutes total and all worked as hoped for. The pull chain mechanism is smooth and works great.

First, it fits the typical lamp fitting / threads (US SAE threads). I only found this brass color in a push/push socket (instead of a pull chain). I used the inside of the new one, but the outside cover of the old silver color one. That outside housing is a little thinner than the old one; noticeable, but of limited consequence. The switch itself is solid, and no visible sparks (arcing). These things used to be really low price and common. I guess they are lower volume today, as they are difficult to find and now cost several dollars in the retail realm. So I liked just simply the fact that this was even available. Screws for terminals are normal size to fit typical lamp wire gauges. If you have a lamp that fits your decor or that you really love or value, its nice to be able repair if and when needed, rather than have to replace the whole lamp. And seriously, new lamps are made so cheaply today; or if you opt for some reasonable level of quality, they are wildly overpriced. Just ridiculously overpriced. So I was really glad to be able to save my existing lamp.

We used to order lamp parts from industrial suppliers in the US for our business. This became excessively burdened with extra charges for shipping and duties and brokerage, etc and finally our suppliers in the US -- primarily in southern states like Texas -- decided not to ship to Canada, possibly for political reasons, it's hard to know. These lamp parts are not of the highest manufactured quality, lacking solidity and weight and life-time dependability. Neither, however, are they of poor quality, otherwise we wouldn't use them at all, having very close and good relationships with our customers. These lamp parts do the job, and will continue to be used by us until even better ones are available again.
