It is way bigger than I thought it was going to be. My piggies did not want anything to do with this at first. I filled and left it in there cage. They ended up using it when the way box they had got empty. Now they use both spots to eat hay. It's heavy duty so they won't chew it. It is worth the money. Cheaper than what the farm supply wanted and easy to set up.

My guinea pig loves this hay feeder. It's not as messy as some feeders and he finds it entertaining.

I had hoped that with the back of the feeder being solid with no holes would have completely prevented hay from getting everywhere but it needs to be on 3 sides for that to happen completely. I don't mind the messy factor too much though. I love how much hay can be stuffed into this feeder. My rabbit, Domino, likes to paw at it, dip his face down into it from the top, and his favorite thing to do is bounce it with his head. The adorableness is overwhelming.

this is the best way to feed hay to your bunny. she's not supposed to lay in the hay but eat it! works beautifully.
