I've tried lots of different hay feeders for my guinea pigs. This is the best one I've come across for my piggies. They love it and it's easy to use. It's lightweight and stable. It's also a good size (not too tall for those using a C&C cage with lid). Easy for piggies to access the hay inside. Fits a good amt of hay and easy to refill. Also feel like it's a good price. Not too expensive.Would highly recommend. Thanks!

Well-made & well-designed!! Super sturdy!! Our 3 piggies get SO excited to have this refilled in the morning . . . MUCH LESS soiled hay mess, much less WASTED hay, equating to $ savings :)) And NONE of the darlings can hog (LOL!) the plastic tub that, in theory, should work for them, but doesn't. A win-win-win-win-win . . . 3 happy piggies + 2 happy piggie parents :D

We recently overhauled our guinea pig cage with the intention of increasing our interaction with them and decreasing the amount of cleanup involved. We went from a regular cage to a C&C cage w/ plexiglass front. I ordered this along with all our other supplies, initially said it would take about a month to get here but really only took about a week. It's fairly large so make sure you have a large space for it. It'll hold a lot. It's well made and I like that the lid "locks" on. The piggies seem to love that they can access their food all around and I love that we're no longer using a feeder that hangs on the side of the cage and dumps hay all over the floor. Very happy with this product!

Wow I was pleasantly surprised with the quality and size of this feeder. It's awesome. The top fits into two notches and twist to secure it. The bars are far nough apart for bunny to pull it out and hold a lot of hay but don't pack it in. This will save on wasting hay as my bunny likes to pull hay out of his open feeder pnto the floor. Love it! 👍❤️💯

I had to order this twice in order to receive one (I know things get lost in shipping etc but still frustrating) and when it finally came I had to nail on the trim on the bottom as it had completely broken off. It is still functional and usable, but seriously? $50 for this isn't worth your money. I'm disappointed in it.

We got this and a wooden house after purchasing two guinea pig. The house has been great but this was a nightmare. My pigs didn't seem to eat the hay out of it (too far back maybe?) or they would get in the bottom food part and end up pooping in the food part. When I would go to empty/refill the poop and stained and smeared the wooden food area and I was not able to clean it (I honestly didn't even want to try). After the first somewhat cleaning attempt, I put it back in their habitat but the next time I went to clean it (2 days later) I ended up just tossing it in the trash because it was just gross at the bottom. I bought the plastic hay feeding container that attaches to the side of the case and they worked much better. This looked aesthetically nice - maybe for a larger animal like a rabbit it would work well, but not for piggies that are silly (but cute!) animals and poop too much.

This has been a game changer for feeding our four Guinea pigs. All other feeders we’ve used (and we have tried them all) have either been knocked down or off, too small to contain enough hay or climbed into, ruining the hay.Having 360 degree access means no fighting for pole position, and we have noticed they move around it searching for the tastiest pieces which all adds to enrichment. It is completely sturdy so no worry of it being tipped over. We have very little wasted hay if it’s packed down well, and having the extra space at the base for pellets is an added bonus. Only con I can see is it does take up cage floor space and is only suitable for Guinea pigs with large cages.
