Material

This DERNORD Stainless Steel Elbow Hose Barb to Male NPT conforms to National Pipe Thread (NPT) standards, having an elbow barb hose. The barbed fitting on one end creates a tight seal on flexible or semi-rigid hose when used with a hose clamp or crimp sleeve or ferrule (sold separately), and a male NPT fitting on the other end connects to threaded pipe to form a tight, fixed connection. 90-degree elbow for connecting hose to threaded pipe at an angle. This fitting is made of 304 stainless steel for strength and resistance to corrosion.

I used this barb fitting when installing the heater core in my 1975 F100 302. This is an excellent value for the money and I would definitely buy again if needed.

I bought this specifically for my well. It is entirely useless because it is not the right size. The barb is too small and it does not grab the pipe. I am not speaking for the quality of the product only for the fact that it does not work as intended. It's a paper weight now. 22 bucks thrown away.

It is a little small but it works, so i am pleased overall. I updated my false bottom flow to 1/2 because I have 1/2 QD connect for my pump out of mash tun.
