Este complemento del pedido igual que el anterior no estaba sellada la caja de cartón y solo había adentro una pieza de bronce bailando adentro, faltaba el marco y la tapa para probar estanqueidad y además parece manipulado

I am a General Contractor and our go to for plumbing faucet and shower fixtures are Delta/Brizo products. The Delta R10000 rough in is compatible with a HUGE selection of shower/tub trim kits. The design is simple, can fit in a 2x4 framed wall if needed, and I have not had one fail yet.

Excellent and easy to install. The only additional part I needed to purchase to install the bronze shower hardware. Can’t go wrong with Delta! Amazon got all the products on time for my remodel job! Great job!

I just installed it yesterday. Wasn’t sure how it all came together. Thanks to youtube, I was able to put it together with the cartridge. Works great, I would recomend.

Yes I know they have a version with built in Pex-A fittings but I love soldering so I bought the 1/2 threaded NPT and soldered 1/2 copper pipes on them onto Pex-A fittings. I did it this way so I have more control over the exact location of where I can mount the valve. The version with the built-in Pex fitting will still require you to use elbows and I'd rather have soldered joints than Pex elbows if we're being honest. This valve gives you tons of leeway when it comes to depth - you can install it way back or in front of the stud and the escutcheon will still cover it fine. I'm very impressed with the quality of this valve that I will be replacing the other valves in the house with Delta.

Product price ordered via Amazon and supplied direct from manufacturer (Delta/Masco) was significantly less than if ordered via big box stores or plumbing suppliers. Delivery was prompt, less than a week, and exactly what I wanted. There are a number of variations of these rough-ins, required for various scenarios. This particular model is for SHOWER HEAD ONLY (no outlet for tub spout). The HF in the part number is for High Flow. The picture provided here is not quite accurate, since it shows both an up outlet (shower) and a down outlet (tub spout).. In reality there is an outlet at the top to go to the shower, and NO outlet at the bottom to go to a tub spout. You can solder connect 1/2 inch copper lines which fit directly into the inside of the threaded fittings, of if you are using PEX then you can solder connect PEX connectors into the inside of the threaded fittings the same way.If you want to connect to both shower and tub spout then you need a different model of rough-in, such as the R100000-UNBX. Some people use the shower/tub rough-in for shower only applications, by just capping off the bottom outlet to the tub which is ok, but I think you may get better maximum water flow to the shower with the shower-only UNBXHF rough-in, since the water flow inside the rough-in is larger and more direct. It's also less work since you don't have to cap off one outlet. Some (but not all) of the rough-ins are available "With Stops". This is designated by "WS" included in the part number. These models include small screw-operated water shutoff points in the casing, and allow you to shut off the water right at the entrance of rough-in, to allow you to change out the cartridge or do other maintenance without needing to shut off the master water supply to the apt or house. The "trim" or "monitor" is purchased separately, and included cartridge and cover plate, handle, etc. It installs into the rough-in after you have completed the tiling or other wall finishing around the rough-in. Note that you have to be extremely careful to mount the rough-in to the correct depth in the wall, so that AFTER the tiling etc is completed, the rough-in will extended just the right amount into the room beyond the tile or whatever, to allow correct mounting of the monitor cartridge and cover plate. The instructions are all provided - read closely, since impossible to correct once tiled over.

Purchased a couple of these to replace some old Temptrol valves we had in our house. I loved the idea of being able to isolate water from the cartridge directly from the valve as opposed to shutting the water off to your house. They are easy to use and get to as well, love this feature. The finish on this valve is superb. Threads were perfect and the finish inside all of the solder connections as well as where the cartridge is inserted were perfectly polished and made pipe soldering and cartridge installation a walk in the park. There were no burrs or anything on the outside of the valve either, I was very impressed with how smooth and clean everything was. 5 stars on the valve. The only reason I take a star away is because of the plastic mounting bracket. The first valve I received the bracket was cracked and broken in multiple spots that rendered it unusable. The box it came in was undamaged but they do not have any bubble wrap or anything inside of it to protect this part from getting damaged during shipping. It's not a deal breaker but compared to what this bracket is attached to it falls well short. A little more attention to detail with the bracket and this is a perfect product!I have read some people complaining/having problems with the cartridges in these valves and I honestly think it's either a water quality issue or it's just not being installed properly. You do have to be careful with the parts that have an o-ring seal in them and to make sure that they are properly lubricated before installation. We have had no issues whatsoever.Side note - One significant difference I did notice from my early 90's Temptrol valves to this one was the amount of time you have hot water for. I'm assuming this is because of the anti-scalding safety stuff but if someone could clarify that would be great. There is an adjust you can make on the cartridge that increases or decreases the total amount of hot water you can mix in. Even with it set at it's high limit it's still quite a bit different from the valves I replaced. Just some information I thought I'd put out there that I found to be interesting. Overall this is a great replacement and works well!
