Have had other diverters installed by our handyman over the years and they break. Our handyman moved away so decided to do it myself and get a delta. Been very happy with the lifetime warranty and customer service on our delta faucets. The diverter was easy to install, used a bit of white plumbers tape on all connections. It doesn’t leak the mechanism is smooth and works great.

I ordered several different diverters to use and this is the most sturdy and the one I decided to use.I am using the 'PDPBath16" Shower Extension Arm' and 'AquaStar Elite 3-in-1 High-Pressure 48-mode 7" Shower Head Combo'. Other diverters would leak because they are not solid and could not handle the weight from the extension arm and the shower head. The diverter that comes with the AquaStar was not great and the handle would become difficult to turn after several months.

Worked very well, easy to install, zero leaks, and very easy and lots go to use. I used it for adding a wand shower to my showerhead. I wanted to make sure that I didn't get yet another one that leaked and you can't go wrong with delta

I like how effective this shower diverter valve is. I use it to divert water to my dog washing sprayer that is always setup in the shower. It operates smoothly when turning the valve handle and does not leak any water out of the shower head when I'm dog washing, unlike my pervious diverter did. It's made of real m-e-t-a-l (and not cheap chromed plastic) and very solid. The inner parts of the valve are also metal. The original diverter for the dog washing attachment broke, like they all seem to do because they're really cheap chromed plastic, so it was time to replace it with something better and this was it.

I replaced the water diverter that I got from Home Depot with this higher quality DELTA water diverter. Naturally I have a shower head on one end of the diverter, and a handheld shower head with 6 foot hose on the other output. You can switch between either the shower head, or the handheld shower head. As with other diverters, you can also send 50% to the shower head, and 50% to the handheld shower head, or any other percent division. This water diverter comes with a thick rubber washer on the water source end of the diverter. This thick rubber washer does not leak, unlike my other Home Depot model. It is overall well designed, and I am 100% happy with it's functionality and finish. The diverter lever is smooth and effortless to turn 90 degrees. All threads are well formed, and the threaded pipe lips are all smooth, not sharp, which helps to prevent small water leaks. I currently have attached the shower head and handheld shower head hose to these threads, without using "Teflon tape", and there does not seem to be any leaks. The water diverter input side with the thick rubber washer is connected without any Teflon Tape, and it does not leak either. Roger Louie 9-4-2020

I purchased this Delta 2-way valve to mount behind an existing shower head in a built-in shower, and connected the 2nd outlet to a and a . Delta plumbing fixtures have a well-earned reputation for quality, and this valve is certainly a good example. It threaded easily onto the existing shower-head pipe at head height, and the shower head and stainless hose fitted on nicely, without the need for excessive force to make watertight connections. Neither the connections or the valve are showing any signs of leaking after months of regular use. This is not the least expensive 2-way valve available, but its been problem free, and feels as if it will give years of good service. It's a product I'm very happy with, and would buy again if I do another similar installation.

After reading negative reviews on rain fall/handheld shower head sets with flimsy plastic diverters, I was looking for a metal diverter valve to put together my own rain fall shower combo. My Set-Up:- A-Flow™ Luxury Rain 8" Square Stainless Steel Shower Head with Acrylic Sparkling Clear Glass http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00SA4MO7K- KES® DP501B Bath FIVE Function Handheld Shower Head http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00LUUBUX0My first choice was the fancy looking KES PV4 diverter.Sadly, I received a faulty unit, not once but twice. So there seems to be a design flaw internally - it has a swivel joint right below the water in connector, which this DELTA unit does not have. Apparently, that swivel joint is the KES' weak point. So I decided to give this one a try. I'm glad I did.In comparison with the KES, this DELTA diverter is smaller, however, it is solid. I had no issues installing it.I'm deducting a star for water pressure and the fact that this valve doesn't accommodate using both shower fixtures simultaneously.I have excellent pressure in my house and neither of my fixtures has restrictors in them. This diverter does cut down on pressure a bit. When switching from rain fall to handheld, at the mid point it simply doesn't have enough oomph to put out enough water to each shower head.It doesn't bother me enough to look for a replacement. In fact, I may be buying a second one of these for my second bathroom. If you have weak water pressure at your house, this might not be the best choice. Otherwise, go for it.

I was looking for a right-angle ball valve setup for our RV shower - I was swapping out a 2.5 gallon per minute showerhead for a much lower-flow one that didn't have a shutoff. This... works. I ended up putting a half-inch plastic cap on the intake - (That's the female threaded opening that isn't shown) and putting the supply line to the short-threaded male opening, and the shower nozzle on the long-threaded end.I also ended up resetting the valve itself by a quarter turn. (Easily done - the stem for the ball is plastic, the setscrew is a 2mm hex and comes out easily, the valve handle comes off easily and it's keyed, so a sharp knife will be needed to make a flat surface at the point you want it.) Put it on, and... it's a 90-degree ball valve. Now, the weird part. With the supply line on the LONG threaded end, with the valve closed there's a 'burble' and you get about half the flow of the open valve. I think it might be an anti-scald safety device. Reverse the setup, and I get no flow through the valve when it's closed... which is what I wanted in the first place. (Our RV water heater thermostat isn't adjustable, it's not very hot at all so the anti-scald provision isn't applicable.)This looks to be very durable - I don't think we'll have any problems with it for the life of the trailer. Highly recommended.
