After trying every DIY option, nothing could stop the cats and a dog or two using our lawn as an outhouse, we bought this device. Now 3 other homes on our block have them and they work amazingly. You do need to warn your mailman.

This is the only — and I mean ONLY intervention for keeping raccoons away that has worked and we’ve tried every single thing you can google over several years. And it’s cheap, easy, and humane. 50 gold stars. Seriously get it.

Jersey get's filled with Deer around this time. No more deer in my backyard. No more eating my trees or bushes. Amazing product. You can tell it's better than the cheap ones you sometimes find.

I love that it waits until the cats, dogs, raccoons, etc get right in front then blast away. Just gotta remember to shut it off during the day so it doesn’t spray the amazon delivery guys.Update: I have a ring camera that covers the area where this motion sprinkler sits. I used to have dozens of motion activated videos at night from cats, raccoons, skunks, etc. After a week of this sprinkler up and running I have maybe 2 a week and they all get blasted. I’ve even noticed during the day when it’s off, the neighborhood cats steer clear of my yard. Which in turn my yard is smelling more like a garden again and not like a smelly cat box.

I set it up and tested it out on day one. Good reaction time and strong stream of water.I noticed the audible click the unit makes when it detects motion is enough to scare away the problem bully cat. He's rather high strung, I suspect. I will activate the water stream part a couple of weeks after he gets comfy with the click sound.That should be an unexpected surprise!

I am using this to deter peacocks from coming into my back patio. It has worked. I only didn't give it 5 stars because there is no adjustment on it to regulate the width of the spray. It has a narrow width and I would have liked to been able to widen it.

This one at least works although not as well as expected. Even at the lowest sensitivity it goes off when I am 40 feet away. I am not seeing it go off on the cats, although they seem to be avoiding the area now. Sometimes it will go off for nothing at all. The only reason to keep it is that I have already returned one such product from Amazon (and its replacement) and one from Walmart that did not work at all. I will call customer service on Monday and update this review after.6 cats and a possum walked right in front of it and it did not go off. Set on 2. One big raccoon got wet.Update: there is apparently no customer service or even a working web site. They just hang up on you. At the lowest sensitivity this device goes off on a person more than 30 feet away, but it will not go off when a possum walks right in front of it. It seems like they used the wrong sensor.
