These appear to be effective and water resistant, I’d not say “waterproof”. These do not withstand dogs peeing on them. The one put in place close to dog areas, stopped working and was full of pee. The other three are working well.

I love that the gadget makes a loud pitched sound together with the vibration. I placed several around my backyard because we are next to an open space slope and I can only imagine that it would scare some vermin. I find the cost is reasonable and it is easy to use. Although it would be better to have an on-off switch.

Completely worthless. I have been using these for almost 4 weeks now, and the moles seem to be tunneling even more than they were before. This is not the answer! $40 I will never see again...save your money.

We bought these for my son in law. He has a million dollar home and the gophers were destroying his beautiful yard. He has tried everything. Nothing was working. He placed these in his yard and he said no more holes in his yard and no more destroyed plants. Well worth the money. I have told some of mu neighbors about these.

Real easy to install in the ground. After a few days I noticed that my dogs no longer dig at the existing tunnels in the yard, which makes me think the critters are gone. No new tunnels have been made since I installed these in the yard. Very happy with my purchase.

Easy to setup. Let it charge in the sun a couple days before turning on and using. Has three modes, vibrate, sonic beep, and vibrate and beep. Doesn't affect my dogs at all. I've noticed fewer/none additional mole hills. Hopefully it drives them all away from my yard. AND IT'S SOLAR POWERED, so basically set it and forget it....Until you mow the yard, might want to unscrew them, because they have a screw into the ground design.
