I have a 2012 Ram and needed to replace my running board pads. This is the second set I have installed on my truck. After some experience, these were easy to install. Here's what I learned: I used a small pry bar to take the old pads off, careful not to scratch the chrome finish on the running boards. Use vice grips to remove the old metal retaining clips (five per pad), being careful to not scratch the chrome finish as you leverage the vise grips against the metal. Once you have removed the pads and hardware, place the new clips in the predrilled holes on the running board. They will stick out slightly (1/4") from the surface. Carefully tap the brackets in with a rubber mallet until the top is flush with the hole. There are 5 plastic 2" nubs on the new pads. Orient the pads where the Deezee letters are facing out. Start on the end and gently press the 1st plastic nub on the bottom of the pad into the metal retaining clip just enough to hold it in place. Don't push it in all the way, as this will make it difficult to start the next nub. Do the second nub the same way and work your way across the pad, one nub at a time. You can check the alignment of the nubs if you look through the gap between the pad and running board if you don't push the previous nub too far in. Once you have started all the nubs into the brackets, start working the pad to the flush position a little at a time by hand. If you've done it correctly, you should be able to push the pad flush by hand. I used my rubber mallet to gently tap the pad for extra security. Hope this helps. My first attempt was a learning experience, so I wanted to share so you don't bend the plastic nubs like I did.

Super fast shipping. Our items arrived 4 days earlier than estimated. Packaged very well. We bought the wrong size pads and had to return them. This seller was amazing in giving a refund. Highly recommend this seller and product.

Fit my Ram 1500. Easy as he'll to install. Quality is good only issue I have is one side of one of them keeps slowly moves up a bit. I just have to step on it and it goes back down.

These step pads fit my round, chrome, nerf bar perfectly on my 2012 Toyota Tundra CrewMax. They have 5 pins in a straight line that fit the existing holes on the bar. Make sure, when you remove the old pad, you get any leftover rubber and metal sleeves, out of the hole, and when you install the new pad, slide the metal sleeves onto the rubber pins and then install the step pad..they go in very easy that way with a few taps from a rubber mallet. The size of these pads...21 inches long, 3 inches wide. DZ3ICHECKS

My truck has aftermarket 3" round Nerf Bars made by Truck Champ. I couldn't find OEM replacement step pads so I though I'd give these a try.First point; they fit perfectly, five mounting points lined up with my nerf bar and took the same size retaining clips.Second point: DeeZee branded step pads come in a 2 pack (I bought two packages for my four step pad locations) because they come in a two pack they are nearly half the price of their competitors. I'm very pleased with the quality of the produce and the fit.Installation tip: Start in the center and work out as you press the mounting points into the retention clips.
