My dog needs to peek out at every intruder. I wish I’d known this existed in our previous house. So far, it has saved the door’s finish from her Rottenweiler Raptor claws.

(Easy to take off and re-place as well) and so far nothing has gone wrong in this high traffic bedroom in a 3 dog home. I am using this on the inside of my front door as well and once the outside is painted I will be placing a combo on the outside as well. These are a good strong adhesive but after making one mistake and panicking that I wouldn’t be able to get it off without ripping paint or wood, I was pleased to find that it came off cleanly and I was able to use that piece in another spot.I highly recommend these if you have animals and don’t want your doors to show the wear and tear that claws can create quickly

If your doors are scuffed from people using their feet to hold them open, this is the ticket. Attaching couldn't be easier and they hold up well over time. Just wipe them off when dirty. Highly recommended.

I am using it because my puppy chewed through the door to such extent that I couldn’t used screws. I might increase it to a five but based on other reviews, there may be a time issue regarding the adhesive. It fit perfectly.

Exactly what we needed for the interior of our front doors. There was some discoloration and several scratches that were an eyesore but we didn't want to have the doors restained. These kick plates covered those areas completely. They compliment the hardware beautifully and add the perfect amount of protection from future damage. Easily applied and appear to stick securely. If that changes I will simply add extra 3M double sided tape to the backs of them. Very pleased and highly recommend!

Purchased 3 of these for a commercial setting. They were very well packaged to prevent damage. Install was quick and easy, and the preinstalled adhesive tape seems to have a good bond on painted doors.The only thing I didn't like is the edges aren't painted and are very noticeable, I had to color the edges with a black marker so it wouldn't be as noticeable.

I ordered the oil rubbed bronze and it’s lovely. Unfortunately, the adhesive leaves a lot to be desired. I constantly need to press it in place to keep it from falling off of the door. I will find a better adhesive to add to it.

I ordered the brush, nickel kickplate without holes, but the item that turned up looks like just plain aluminum. Both sides and the cut edges are all identical. They look like the back side of aluminum foil. It’s not ugly, but when put next to the brushed nickel of our door knobs. It looks terrible.
