Terrible product. Don't buy. Corner bent, scratches on the plate face and 2 areas of rust. Cheap stainless steel. Looks second hand. If I could submit with NO stars I would.

I was trying to find a kick plate to cover some damage to our front door. I thought this would be like all the other sheets of metal I had used and be thin and flexible and easy to cut to fit to size. But this is not like the others. It is a thick and sturdy sheet of metal. It comes with pre-drilled holes and I highly recommend you measure your door to make sure it will fit, otherwise, you will have a seriously difficult time if you think you will just tin snip or cut off a few inches to make it fit. The material is really nice to look at and seems very hight quality.

I bought this to put up vertically on my door as my dogs scratch pet the door wood to pieces when we leave . This is predrilled just screw it in and now I may put some 40 grit sand paint er over time t to double as a nail file when they try to scratch up the door!It’s not brass so yes it’s a bit thinner but still functions and these price seems on par

Really spruced up my outbuilding door where the bottom looked a little rough and slightly rotted. Repaired the rot and covered with this nice looking stainless kick plate. What a difference. This is nice quality metal, not some cheap flimsy foil thin plate. Easy to install, very happy.

This kick plate is made of stainless steel. It was very easy to install and fit perfectly on the door. It looks just fine on the door and prevent damage to the door.

At the current $36.99 price this kick plate is a good deal. Shopping around I have noticed many others around the same price and higher that are not as thick, so I was happy to find this one with a more substantial metal at a reasonable price.I think the metal is plenty thick and on par with what you normally would see for a kick plate. Perhaps thinner than something commercial, but I don't think by much. The finish looks great, was well protected and none of the edges are sharp. The back side is smooth and the front side has a brushed finish.I measured the product length as 34 inches which matches the product details. The width/hight turned out to be slightly less than the 8 inches in the product details. That was not an issue for me, but something that should be noted and considered for others.The only reason I deducted a star is because one of the holes is missing the countersink which allow the screws to sit flush with the surface once installed. I also noticed that the countersink is not exactly the same on each hole and in a couple cases almost too big for the screw head. In the end, after I had this installed it looks great and it is likely no one other than myself will notice the small issue. However, it is a bit of a quality issue on an otherwise excellent product. I also tried to reach out to the seller/manufacturer through amazon like the instructions on the packaging say to do, but found no way to contact them. It will only allow exchange or return, but no messages to the manufacturer and the product comes with no other contact details/methods.I may end up buying a few more of these soon considering the good price and quality.

These guys definitely have the packaging down as this kick plate has bright packaging with big clear instructions on how to install, including drill size. The plate itself has a good, blemish free finished side and comes with the plastic cover so you can install without worrying too much about scratching/dinging it. The pre-drilled holes are countersunk and they include the matching screws. The only thing we noticed is the plate is thinner than another one we installed on the other side of the door at the same time. Probably not too big a deal though as it still seems pretty durable.

This kick plate was a lot more heavy duty than I was expecting. It comes pre-drilled for mounting and has a protective film on the stainless surface to protect the finish until it's installed. I would recommend.
