I started out with telescoping snake hooks and found out that when your adrenaline is going while dealing with a rattlesnake, a solid pole with hook is definitely best.This pole is the perfect length and the hook is gentle on the snake as well.I definitely recommend this herp tool!

For a product advertised as “heavy duty” theres nothing heavy duty about it cant even help me in grabbing my snake. I thought for ordering online i would have bought good quality but unfortunately this is a product that should be sold at local pet shops cheap to stock up the shelves with and maybe to handle a 3-4 ft snake. Hope the company next time has a product that’s actually heavy duty like they advertise if theyre gonna sell to the public.

Great Hook for medium sized snakes. Lightweight and sturdy with metallic grip. The blue dipped plastic tip wears if fairly quickly. However a great Starter hook for future Herpetologists and wranglers

I got this for a ball python about 4'. and the plastic covered tip makes it hard to get under the snake, and the shaft bendswhen you do get it under and try to lift him. even the smaller snake is hard to get out. might be good for a king or corn snake.
