TruClose Multi-Adjust Gate Hinges
TruClose Multi-Adjust hinges are highly adjustable self-closing gate hinges for metal, wood and vinyl gates. Multi-Adjust hinges feature 3-way adjustment – vertical, horizontal and tension.
TruClose hinges are made from UV-stabilized industrial-strength polymer and stainless steel components for long lasting performance. Multi-Adjust hinges are ideal for large gate post to fence post gaps – fits gate gaps up to 2”. Horizontal adjustment can be made up to ¾”. Regular models self-close gates up to 55 lb. Heavy Duty models self-close gates up to 132 lb.

My husband purchased these hinges for our chain link gate fence because we got a pool and the township told us the fence had to have self close hinges. The hinges were easy to install and the gate now closes on its own with ease. The hinges are very good quality aluminum and I don't anticipate they will break. We have been using the new gate hinges for many months now and they work great.

Locating and installing these is easier than standard hinges because of the mounting plates - you don't need to support the gate while driving screws. The ranges ofthe tension and position adjustments are more than adequate for my 3 x 5 gate, and they look nice on the finished product.They lose a star because the product literature says they are appropriate for wood gates, but the screws provided are definitely not. They appear to be self-drilling sheet metal screws, and they are not going to hold well, if at all, in wood. You will probably need to supply your own screws for a wood gate.

I needed these to bring myself into compliance with code enforcement after having a pool installed in my back yard. Code requirements were self closing, self latching gates. I didn't want to have a whole new fence installed so decided to add these to my existing gate to make it self closing. They are excellent quality, heavy duty, and work exactly as expected and needed to self close my round post fence gate. Bye-Bye code enforcer!!!

My metal fence/gate combo is mounted in a concrete slab, so there is very little tolerance for out-of-whack alignment. These hinges allow you to move the gate up/down, and forward/backward, to get everything in perfect alignment. And over time, when things may move around a little, they allow you to adjust to fit the movement. I love these hinges! Great product.

The item lacks sturdiness and capacity to adequately facilitate a metal gate, as advertised. For my purpose it was basically useless and a waste of time.

Easy install. Resistant to coastal corrosion. Easy to adjust gate position and tension, if needed. A little spendy, but well worth it.

I already had the same hinges and lock for my main gate and wanted the fence section I converted into a gate to have the matching hardware. Very easy to install and a great product. I like the fact both locks use the same key

This hinge arrived in a generic plastic Ziploc type bag. There was a very faded label on the outside that looks like it has perhaps been sitting in the Sun or the weather for a long time. It was hard to distinguish what it even said. I can only trust that the hinge inside is what it was advertised to be. It looked like it had been sitting in some Warehouse in the Sun for many years before it was picked up and sent to me.
