Your cart is empty.Easily hang a gate from a metal T-post with our patented Hinge Pins. Hang and hold any farm or garden gate with 5/8” or 3/4" hinge eyes from a standard Metal T-post. Each Hinge Pin set consists of a bottom and a top hinge pin. Bottom pin slides onto T-post, tilts 45º, and locks above a knob on the T-post. (See drawing ). Bottom pin comes with large washer to make for an easy swing of the gate. The top pin slides onto T-post, with pin facing down, rests UNDER a knob of T-post, locks into position when weight of gate is applied. This position will not allow the gate to be lifted off its hinges should an animal’s head get under the gate. On Garden Gate the upper pin may be placed - pin up - and rest on TOP of a knob on T post. Pins are made super strong out of 5/16” steel, painted and powder coated, and will allow gate to swing 200+º.

I Love My Red T-Post Hinge Pins! I bought enough to do two six foot by six foot gate panels. I am older and disabled and I was able to manage it alone. They are so gorgeous and I feel happy and proud every time I see them! Thank you so much for this awesome product!

I’d decided to build a t post fence to hold my goats, and saw some YouTube videos for these hangers.I mounted a 10’ tube gate using these, and so far, they’re perfect.I had to hammer out a bend in the top of the post to get the top hinge older on. The tip of the post bent a little bit while I was pounding it in. The bottom hinge fit on easily, but it has wider slots than the top one because it sits at an angle on the bottom. After a few whacks on the tip of the post with a hammer, I was able to slide the top one on.The gate that I used had an adjustable top hinge, so I slid it up a bit do that there wasn’t much play on the top hinge pin. It’s not going anywhere. I was skeptical of the ‘locking pin’ from the videos that I saw, but as soon as I saw it in person, I saw how well it works.Yes, they’re a bit pricy for what they are, and the shipping is kind of high, but after adding up the cost of the entire fence, it’s still just a small fraction of the total. These work so well that they’re worth what they cost just for convenience sake. This is the best solution that I’ve seen, and it’s so simple that it’s genius.

I found these to work great! Simple design and straight forward instructions for installing. It’s nice to have the option to put in a gate with post that can be removed should we need to get through with big equipment. I found the product to be a little on the expensive side but still worth it.Even my dad was skeptical when I told him about these hinges, well he is ordering 2 sets to do a couple of gates now himself!The only complaint I would have is that I would have preferred to have ANY color other than red. It would be nice to have a silver or even green like t posts color to choose from. The lack of color aesthetics doesn’t hinder the functionality of this product though.I would recommend!

Bottom piece works well, Any play in the gate and the top piece tends to loose the ability to hold gate in place. When it fails, the gate topples over. I made them work, but I had to wire the gates down to the top holder. With it all wired up, it looks terrible and not so functional. I believe a little re-ngineering this could be a 5 star product.
