No instructions, I read in the comments that the PW is for Pulse Width Modulation (PWM), but this IS NOT correct. Found that out because I hooked up an Arduino with PWM, and it ended up frying my $1,500 computer. This is not the fault of any commenter; this is the fault of the manufacturer not specifying what anything means. There are NO INSTRUCTIONS online, or in the box when delivered. This functions, correctly for 0-90V DC, but not at the cost of $1500. I just now did a google translate and found out that the PW is for an Emergency Switch.

I have a barely-used Kitchenaid mixer with a defective control board, which converts 120VAC to 90VDC and has a slider with discrete speed settings. OEM replacement board is $120 but made this work with some minor modifications. After removing board from plastic housing, was able to mount it in same location as previous board. Does the job at a fraction of the cost!

I bought this to run a Delta Scroll saw 40-601 as did a pervious purchaser. It works. There is no paper work with the unit. What are the PW terminals for? IT shows a NO switch across them but I just hooked up AC and the DC motor and it all works. I think I found out. PW is Pulse Width Modulation. It is a method to control the speed of the motor remotely. Way beyond my capabilities. There is a good write up on line .Look up PW.

It worked for about 10 minutes the first time I used it before it quit. Returned for another 2nd one lasted a day or two before stopping.

Built in belt speed controller for a 90vdc motor was on the fritz for a screen print conveyor dryer. Very old machine that already had been modified with difficulty getting parts. This speced out to be able to handle the job, went ahead and bypassed the built in board and now run the belt with this. Not UL listed, not expecting it to last forever, fully understanding that this is not the professional way but in a pinch on a budget this worked very well.

This does pretty much everything it says. I can't speak to its long term durability but electronically I don't think this thing is too complicated so as long as you're not pushing its limits for long run times, I don't see why it would fail. I used it to replace the speed controller on my mini lathe. If you intend on using it that way, just note that this does not have a switch to reverse the spindle direction, it just sends and controls the flow of power to your DC motor.

I purchased this to control a DC motor project. Workd perfectly and saved me the time and trouble of building a control from scratch.
