This unit is extremely flimsy. It's just cardboard with adhesive foil stuck to the surface. The angles are not 90 degrees. It's bad enough you can see it with your bare eyes. I checked the assembled unit against a machinist square and it's very, very not square. Retroreflectors have to be very close to 90 degrees to reflect radar waves properly. There is almost no chance this is going to function as a retroreflector. It looks pretty. That's about it.

I have not taken the reflector out of its packaging. it comes in a good package for stowing away until needed. I need it in the event of fog primarily. it takes up very little room when collapsed. I do not think this would be a good unit to use for days and days on end, because I do not believe it would stand up to long term weather exposure.

Useful for kayaking in the era of self-driving lobster boat and foggy conditions. Don't forget to stop at Home Depot and get a 5 foot fiberglass pole/snow plowing marker ---the reflector is useless if you put it on a bungee cord on the deck of your boat.

I think this item is too flimsy...gets easily dented, if hitting anything...install in an area where it will not bang into anything solid, by the wind, etc.

Used it for a High Altitude Balloon and it worked perfectly. Is very well made and packaged. Only thing was the edges were a little sharp so I took a medium grit sandpaper to them and they turned out perfect.

It's OK, cardbord but good, I guess, if you have no other reflector

Looks like a handy addition for offshore sailing. Larger than expected but takes no space to store folded up! Recommend
