Item arrived promptly, and following installation it appears to work as expected, meeting my expectations. My only criticism is that it did not come with a power cable, a $19.95 item that I had to order separately from West Marine. It seems to me that 875.64 Instrument should have included a power cable or at least it should have been explained explain in the product description that it would not be included.

I installed this on a Hunter 36. The cable was long enough to reach to the top of the mast with about 6 feet to spare. The instrument integrated itself with my other Raymarine instruments and has worked very well since installed. I needed to unstep the mast to make the installation, but I am glad I did. It was a good opportunity to service the rig.

It works great when working but in direct sun the wind angle needle sticks and must be kept shaded. Shading it un-sticks it. Out of direct sun it works fine. Raymarine says they are working on a fix. Many are complaining. It may be a design flaw in the i60 display. I'd wait to buy until problem's resolved -- unless you only sail at night or out of direct sunlight. Raymarine has subsequently advised that some units were built with an improperly set pin which causes the sticking. They are repairing or replacing these units as necessary.

Its a good product, Was delivered without the power cable which I had to buy separately by an unhelpful distributor who over charging me.
