I replaced my 12 yr old Garmin 18HD with this since I had a new chart plotter and wanted the new features, such as seeing birds and colored ghost tracks for moving objects. The bolt pattern is the same as my older one. The data cable was different, but came with a converter dongle to fit my current Garmin network bar. Very fast compared to the old one.
