The product is great and was plug and play. I would like a better, more detailed explanation of how to remove the plastic molding around the mirror. I damaged mine and had to replace it which was expensive. Other than that that, the installation was easy and works well

purchased 2 of these for 2017 Prius prime and 2017 Highlander hybrid. They both work very well and easy to install.

Easy install. Provides consistent output. Easy to hide behind the mirror and it cables well to just about any camera. You need one of these to do it yourself.

This worked beautifully on our Highlander to install a dash cam without a mess of wires. I don't really need the display on this, a simple power LED would suffice if it shaved a few dollars off the price. Loved that this had matching connectors and everything was plug and play!

This is good device to wire dash cam but that adhesive is garbage, not sticky, stay on surface for about 2-3 seconds. 🤦🏾♂️ short cables that go in dash cams are not angled and may not work in some situations. Did not work for my dash cam and I have to buy an angled cable. It’s a great product but I wish I knew the cable situation before I purchased this thing.

I purchased this product for my Dash-cam. I do not want to run a long wire along the edges of the windshield. I want a clean setup. it works perfectly as shown in the pictures.The only difficult part was may be the effort of managing the wiring inside the tight area of the black plastic cover.Taking the cover off was easy but a bit of trying to put it back again cleanly. This is on 2023 Lexus GX 460.

I was looking forward to removing the long cable used for my dash cam. My car is one of those listed. However, the white female 12-pin plug on the Y-cable would not snap into place on the adaptive cruise sensor. It seemed that if I applied any greater force could damage one or both ends. Too bad -- I had to return the adapter.

I got the unit installed in 2 mins into my 2020 Camry and my mirror dashcam works perfectly. No more dangling cords or the need to run the wire to tap into my fuse box, especially to avoid messing with the A-pillar airbags. Probably the fussiest part of the install was just getting the car's mirror electronics housing covers back on but that has nothing to do with the FitDVR unit itself. A must-buy for those of you powering a dashcam or radar detector. Note however that if you need your dashcam to work when the car is powered off, you will need to hardware it instead.Update: Its so good I bought another for my son's '23 Camry!
