Ordered this bc I had hammertoe correction with pin sticking out of front of my foot. Post op shoe did not cover it. I have used it for 5 weeks, and no problems. Bumped it, caught it on things, and it held up very well.

I wanted to be able to remove the toe protector so instead of using the adhesive, I attached the loop (soft) side of Velcro tape to the adhesive. My boot has the hook side already in the bottom to hold the padding in place. IMPORTANT- I lifted the fabric and 1/4” foam padding just in the toe area, and placed the toe guard on the Velcro it was previously attached to, and put the padding back in place on the top of the toe guard. The Velcro allows you to reposition the guard to get it exactly where you want it. Now the top panel of the Aircast slides right into the weird notched opening like it was designed this way. It’s all tight to the boot, nothing sticks up to create a trip hazard (the LAST thing I need right now), or catch on anything AND protects my toes from bumps. This way works MUCH better than the photos from the manufacturer.

As a factory worker a toe cover was required to work. It was approved by my safety manager and has actually saved my toes a couple times already. My foot doctor was even impressed by it.

I purchased this to add to a post-op shoe I needed that is open-toed for protection. The day I got it I put it on the shoe, was walking around the house in it, and it broke. It barely tapped my other foot on the side, the other shoe was a croc. I instead just decided to buy a close-toed post-op shoe that I can wear outside and to work.

First, this toe guard is THE ONLY ONE I could find. I had realized that going back to work wearing the cast boot that my toes would be exposed in an unsafe environment and probably not allowed by HR. So I decided to go ahead and order this. Now the video shows that for the DRACO boot the base pad pulls out and you stick this toe guard base underneath. My boot does not have an insert base pad that pulls out. However it has a soft cast that sits on top of the base pad. So I inserted the guard under that soft cast, plus I wear double socks. I do not feel the base of the toe guard bcuz the cast base is so hard. It is perfect and my toes are protected from falling objects, etc.... The woman's large square fits exactly correct for my boot.

Bought this because work required it on my boot in order to work. Fits perfectly and stays on. I do think it needs adhesive on the top as well as the bottom. My boot slides out of place with it so I’ve just started sliding it under my toes and it works perfectly.
