This brace works. It does what it's intended to do. It's easy to use, easy to adjust to fit on my foot. I felt supported as I worked through my dropped foot issue. I also appreciate how well it's made. I didn't have any seam unraveling issues, and it cleaned well through hand-washing. I don't think it's going to be problematic in the future.

These are great braces! The material is durable and doesn't get stretched out. I can still wear sneakers with the braces on. The box has helpful diagrams showing how to put the brace on correctly. I wear a women's US size 8 shoe, and the braces feel slightly big but still usable. I like how thick the pad is and how soft the fabric is against my skin. The brace is flexible but firm. The padding is over 0.5" thick. The ankle wrap can accommodate a wide range of ankle sizes. The two braces are clearly labeled "Left" and "Right", and further, the left one has white trim whereas the right one has tan so I can tell which brace is which by the trim color. This is a great set of braces that are comfortable to wear and effective.

The Welnove Drop Foot Brace with Arch Support is a decent brace that wraps around the foot and just above the ankle area. It comes in a pair covering both feet. The material seems sturdy and should last longer than those cheap run-of-the mill braces. The bottom does have a cushioned support for the feet, and it is more subjective whether that portion fits well per individual. It does have some give and slack compared to a hard brace as this secures via Velcro. Overall this is a decent pair of drop foot brace.

Well made, but not strong enough to hold my feet in place

This is actually a pretty useful ankle support. I play pickleball a lot, and this thing has been a lifesaver. My ankle usually is pretty beat up after I play and I came across this support and decided to give it a try. It keeps my ankle locked in so it doesn't twist or move around when moving on the court. It gave me a really sturdy feeling so I don't feel like I need to go easy on my ankle. Excellent ankle support! Would recommend!

While the instructions could be a little more clear, these were not difficult to figure out. They have been comfortable to wear for spurts of a few hours at a time. Well, as comfortable as can be expected. These are for mid-range sized feet. If you generally have difficulty finding shoes in your size, you might want to look for a support that is made for your size.

It took some time to get used to wearing this Drop Foot Brace, primarily because of the arch support (the raised area on the brace that comes into contact with the sole of my foot). This raised area didn't fully cover the bottom of my foot. I'd prefer for the area not to be raised. There are step-by-step pictures on the product box; this was helpful to show me how to apply the brace. No manual is included.I cannot wear the brace in my sneakers; but, I can wear this brace in my prescription diabetic shoes (which has more depth, top-to-bottom; as well as being wider). The hook-and-loop straps hold well after I put the brace on.This brace is flexible, and not the rigid type of AFO brace that covers the foot, ankle, and lower leg. There is a tag attached to the brace, with laundry symbols, which I interpret as:-- machine wash, water temperature 30 degreesnote: on the product box, there is a laundry symbol that I interpret as hand wash. So, I will go with the hand-wash instruction, and will not be putting this in our washing machine.-- do not iron-- do not bleach-- do not tumble dry-- any solvent except tetrachlorethylene (I am not sure that this means)The product box has easy-to-understand washing instructions: hand wash cold; air dry onlyOverall, the brace provides good support.

This is the 3rd different AFO brace I've tried, and the only one that works for me, so far. It is not for someone who has a total foot drop. A hard brace probably would be better for them. I torn the main muscle that lifts up my big toe and foot (anterior tibialis) So I have a partial foot drop. For the novices, a foot drop means you can't lift your toes (and hence your foot) up when walking and they get caught and you are injured either by direct toe/foot blow or by falling and potentially causing serious injury, to head, hip, etc.Once you figure out how to apply it feels good and gives some (so far enough for me) support.Instruction issues:# 1 SIZE: . When ordering there was "one size". On the box it states shoe size for men 5.5-10.5 (women 7-12) I wear an 11.5 or 12 mens and was going to return it when I saw there is only one size order-able. Well it is elastic so I decided to try it. I can get it to fit.# 2 The box comes with one brace for the right and one for the left foot. My problem is on my right foot. The diagram/instructions is how to apply for the left foot. Basically there is a sole pad and 4 non equal elastic straps to wrap around your ankle, numbered 1 to 4, to attach with velcro. If you look down at your bare feet they are not equal, but a mirror image of each other (less wear and tear). The scientific term is stero isomers. After stepping on the pad, the next instruction is to wrap the largest strap in a 'counter clockwise' direction. Well it didn't work on my right foot, So with a little trial and error I started with CLOCKWISE on the right and it worked great. Hopefully the manufacturer will correct that as some people might not be as patient. If they do make more sizes, I would love to try the next larger one, but for now, this one works.RECOMMENDATION Yes, but read these additional instructions.
