This is just like the original that came with the tub and shower. It went on without a hitch. I did find a solid metal handle that works much better so hence the four star rating. I did not return this as I was over the 30 day grace period.

Alternative to brand name replacement part and works just as well. Can't speak for durability yet as only been installed a month or so, but holding up well. Definitely less costly .
