Super easy to rebuild you Hose Bib. I would 100% recommend anyone with a leaking faucet to buy this and get that fixed. Nothing more frustrating than a rusty stain or wet spot on your sidewalks and down the siding. This takes less than 30 minutes (if you're slow) and will fix any leaking you might have around the handle of your frost free hose bib.

Product worked great is solving the leak in the faucet. However, the Handle Screw provided (part 30002) was defective as it had no slot in its head for me to screw into the handle. I was forced to use the old screw (after cleaning it) from the old handle in order to complete the installation. Would suggest better quality control in reviewing parts before shipment.

The kit is excellent. I want to pass on what I learned regarding the replacement of the float valve and this was after talking with the excellent support staff at Woodford. The original components are assembled by machine and are damned tight. It is impossible to thread in the replacement cap without damaging it. The good folks at Woodford have realized this and, if you call them, they will ship you, at no cost, a loaner tap to 'resize' the brass so it accepts the new plastic components. On top of that, they gave me a 'wrench' that makes screwing in the plastic cap a breeze. They provided a prepaid shipping label so you just put the loaner tap back in the box and send it back.

If you have a Woodford 17 exterior faucet, this is the replacement set to get. The package comes with all the parts for a complete refurb. The repair was simple with just a couple tools. If I had to downgrade anything, it would be the size of the included instructions. Get your readers out if you don't have super-eyesight.

I had minor trouble getting the old spigot stem out, after than these replacements fit perfect and the instructions were clear and concise. After finishing i turned the water back on at the main, the spigot didnt leak, didnt drip and is still not dripping a month later. Would recommend.

I just used two of these kits, and everything went better than expected. Both kits installed without a hitch, and both of my outdoor taps are now leak free. I've seen some people say they received plastic handles- mine are both a lightweight, but seemingly sturdy metal.
