This is the smallest and best guitar tuner that I've ever used. It's easy to attach to the underside of my guitar head and the display can be flipped around so that it is right-side-up. It's bright, accurate and inconspicuous. Tuning is easy since there are dashes on either side of the note that both appear when in tune. I bought one for both of my guitars.

I’ve used a lot of tuners over the years, and the D'Addario Accessories Micro Headstock Tuner is by far one of the best small tuners I’ve come across. The compact design makes it easy to clip onto my guitar without being in the way, and the discreet size doesn’t affect the look of my instrument. Despite its small size, it’s incredibly accurate and does the job perfectly every time. This tuner works great for acoustic, electric, bass guitars, and even my ukulele! It’s versatile and adapts easily to different instruments. I especially love how quickly it tunes – the LCD screen is easy to read, and the clip-on mechanism ensures a secure fit on the headstock. It also holds up well, even in noisy environments like band practice or gigs. What really stands out is how reliable and consistent it is. It’s easy to use, and the precision of the tuning is spot on. The low profile doesn’t distract, and the fact that it’s so lightweight makes it perfect for travel. Whether I’m at home or on the go, I always have it with me for quick tuning. If you’re looking for a small, high-quality tuner that won’t let you down, the D'Addario Micro Headstock Tuner is a must-have. I highly recommend it for both beginners and seasoned players alike!

This tuner works great, doesn't do a lot of drifting when tuning like some other tuners I have used. It's small and unobtrusive while in place on the headstock. Awesome little device!

Love this little clip on tuner. Display is clear and colors are bright, yet it's discreet and low profile. Clip holds nicely and has a wide range. It's accurate and sensitive, and works well with tunings outside of standard. Can't ask for much more for the price, I ended up buying 2!

Discretos, no estorban, afinan con ruido ambiental, los tengo en todas mis guitarras, afino en pleno show sin problema de la música de otros instrumentos. Recién nuevo no encuentra las notas pero al usarlo varias veces funciona perfecto. Me gustan mucho, altamente recomendables.

I have several and they are great! Clips on easy and as long as it’s secure,it will read accurately. Nice and bright, small but easy to read. I don’t like the snarks that look huge and hang way out. They look terrible. These are tiny, but east to read even in sunlight.

Fitment/appearance and usability/convenience:I have it attached to the E string tuner on my bass, so it hides behind the headstock and is invisible from the front. It detects every string, although it takes a while to pick up the A string - not a long time, but just a couple of beats extra instead of the usual one-second response. It's always there so it's an easy bit of the routine to tune before i start anything.Accuracy:Compared it to a Fender clip-on and it was surprisingly accurate - when I had a bar on one side of the note solid and the other side blinking on this (so not quite perfect, but close according to it), the Fender said I was bang on the money (multiple tests, multiple strings) . From that my takeaway is that you can tune quite fine if you have the patience to get both blue bars solid - to be honest I haven't managed it yet.UI:The display is bright and easy to read even though it's tiny - all the relevant bits show up with different colours. To be fair, I've only done standard tuning on this but the other modes seem to be easily accessible and available. It's usually just a button press to power on, tune four strings, button press power off and I'm done. Worth the money.

This was actually even smaller than I expected it to be. It lives quietly and comfortably on the head of my 5 string Ibanez bass. I can tune my bass perfectly with it, however it takes a little more time and work than something like a standard Snark. Even the Snark has a problem with the low B string, and this tuner struggles a little harder to hear it. It also has a little more trouble with the low E than the Snark. The other 3 strings pick up nicely, but there is still a delay between when the string is plucked and when it displays anything. A quick harmonic check (by ear) on all strings is helpful to fine tune. While on and not receiving input, it seems to blink continuously, I guess to let you know that it is on and waiting to "hear" a note. This is confusing and makes it look as though it is malfunctioning at first, although it does not appear to be. The metronome function works nicely (but silently), but I'll probably never use it. The ratcheting arm holds onto the head nicely, and does not slip at all. I think I prefer it to the padded spring clip on a Snark. The tuner swivels on the clip, making it pretty easy to see from most angles. It would be nice if it was more like a ball joint than a swivel for even more angles, but I think that would increase the size. It is helpful that the screen can be flipped to accommodate my preferred orientation. It is set to A440, but that is very easily adjustable if desired. The controls, in fact, are very simple and easy to use.Overall for about 12 bucks, I'm happy with it. That is, as long as it continues to work properly, and the additional time required to use it doesn't get annoying. I have not yet tested it on other instruments, but from how it works with my bass, I think it will actually work better on something like a guitar or mandolin.
