I have an older autoharp (Oscar Schmidt, pre-1968), whose tuning wrench became unusable (wrench was about 4.5mmX4.5mm square). This tuning wrench works great on my model.Newer autoharps require a smaller wrench. Specifically, those made in 2012 or newer (the measurement I've regularly seen is 4mmX4mm square). As a result, most of the less expensive tuning wrenches I've seen on Amazon are too small for the older models of autoharp. If you try to use some of the harp or lyre tuning wrenches (which are bigger) you may find they are too big, allowing for slippage. Most of the wrenches I've seen that claim to be for the older models also happen to be over $20, which can be eye watering for anyone on a budget. This is a great option for significantly under $20.

Perfect fit for tuning the pegs on a door harp. Seems well built and the leverage of the T handle makes it easy to tune.

This was pricy (was delivery to Australia) but worth it. The little spanners are so hard to use. This fits the Music Maker perfectly and is really easy to use.

Works great and looks well made. My only complaint is it is a very tight fit on the tuning pins I have which are standard sized pins. Takes a bit of work to seat it properly on the Pin.

I'm a luthier. I build custom acoustic guitars, repair stringed instruments, and I restore historical guitars, as well as other old stringed instruments. I'm cleaning up a 1964 Jubeltone German Zither, as well as a large East German concert Musima Markneukirchen Zither. I needed a tuner wrench.I took caliper measurements on several pegs but found as much as a 0.75mm variance. None of the measurements seem to fit into the available wrenches. I tried to use nut drivers, but none fit.Research seemed to suggest that 3/16" is the proper size, but the corresponding nut driver slipped. Nut drivers are hex shaped and many wrenches are star shaped. I decided to take a shot in the dark and ordered this wrench. The opening on this wrench is square, which minimized slippage. It's also 3/16", which was the closest measurement to the caliper. The wrench fits properly and allows fine tuning. Its also well-made. The handle has a pin which will keep it from spinning. It's a good buy.

Es ergonómico, de buen tamaño y la cabeza tiene suficiente cuerpo para durar y no romperse o doblarse. Lo malo es que solo te permiten comprar de 5 en 5 y tienes que estar esperando varios días antes de poder comprar más.

I lost my tuning key for my lever harp / clarsach, so I bought this online, and also popped into a folk musical instrument shop, where I was advised that it was designed for autoharps only, and that it wouldn’t fit my levers.Wrong! And compared with the chunky extra-sturdy tuning keys which all the harp manufacturers sell, I far prefer a lighter model like this one - especially as my whole harp needs a retune...Edit: having bought this as a replacement, and then as the replacement’s replacement, and also a chunky sturdy tuning key in between, I’ve found that my tuning pegs are too small for standard harp tuning keys, yet fit this one perfectly. So if you have smaller-than-usual tuning pegs, get this tuning key.

I have a Reverie Harp (a zither-like instrument) from Music Makers, and wanted another tuning key but I wanted wood (REAL wood), at a price that was not too expensive. This tuning keys works perfectly! It is solid and sturdy, and I prefer the T-design for this harp over the L-shaped one my Reverie Harp came with because of the angle I tune this harp at.Note - this tuner is for smaller instruments. It also fits my 29-string lever harp, but it does not work on my full-size 39-string harp.AMAZING VALUE for real wood and it being so sturdy. I tried many others before I finally landed on this one!

I purchased this a few weeks ago and it works great! Fits perfectly snug on the tuning pins of my 1978 Oscar Schmidt 21 Chord Autoharp. It's easy to make those tiny little adjustments to keep it tuned in tip top shape. Just love and am well pleased with it. Highly recommended!
