I replaced the wiring harness plug for my RV tow vehicle because one of the wires at the old plug connection had fatigued and broken inside the plug at the connection screw point. The old plug did not have the spring feature so I decided to upgrade to this design to reduce flexing during use and another potential fatigue failure.

I use this to tow my car behind motorhome. It is durable and strong. Fits well into car's receptacles and locks in place thanks to the lip on it.

The wring plug that was originally installed for my towed car (behind a RV) was plastic and broke within a week and it was very difficult to use as the pins were slightly our of alignment. This one is so much better made. We have put 10,000 miles with it and not issues.

Not only does this harness come with the spring, but the connectors are exposed with easy to access screws. I expect this to last for years and years, and I know if I need to rewire something, this harness won't make it any more difficult than it has to be.

This plug is well made and functions perfectly. The spring helps keep too much tension on the wire as it exits the plug body.

This 6way plug is alittle smaller than the plug in,on my truck. I had to replace both,because plug was too small, and fell out.

I have rewired my 16' flatbed trailer 2 times now. This 6 pin trailer connector with the attached spring adds a lot of stability! A 3/8" wire loom fits perfectly into the spring side opening and into the screw down holder on the metal connector (1/2" should fit too.) Fits snug in my truck receiver. Works great too!
