This bracket was ordered to support an Omni Corporation U25E water filter, and it worked well for that application. (NOTE: The filter body must be placed directly in the middle of the bracket, or the bracket sides may prevent the filter housing from screwing all the way in and sealing properly.) The reason for the 3 stars is the screws provided to mount the bracket. To explain, before mounting the water filter on my chosen location on a wall, I assembled the filter, bracket, and inlet/outlet pipes on my workbench. To do so, I first placed the bracket around the filter, then screwed the inlet and outlet pipes into the filter through the openings in the bracket. The slots in the back of the bracket then allow the entire filter/piping assembly to be placed onto the wall screws, and lowered into place - they would be very difficult to access otherwise. Unfortunately, the screws provided were so big that they would not fit through the large openings on the bracket slots. Thankfully I caught this and was able to use slightly smaller screws and drill the wall holes accordingly. The vendor should ensure that the screws provided will work with the bracket slots.

Fits the Watts filter housing perfectly as others have noted. Must be installed on the housing before the inlet and outlet fittings are installed. This creates the only real annoyance. Once the bracket is on the filter housing, the housing effectively blocks access to the screws that secure it to the wall. While the screw holes in the bracket are slotted to allow the screws to be installed in the wall first and the bracket slipped over the screw heads and then slid down into place it would be nice to be able to securely tighten the screws. If the back of the bracket were an inch or two taller that would be possible.It would be even nicer if the screws furnished with the bracket actually had heads small enough to allow the bracket to slip over them as intended. How about it there Culligan??

This mounting bracket worked great for my Watts WH-LD premier whole house filter system. It fit securely on the wall holding the filter system in place for easy filter change.

even though it is Culligan brand it will work with eh Watts WH-LD Premier Whole House Filter System, although included are 4 pan head screws, if you need it to mount to cinder block, you will need a couple of Tap-Cons available, 1 1/2 are fine, I used two and it is rock solid.Update: make sure you wrap pipe thread tape about three times around the male end fitting, then tighten snugly against bracket, the bracket will not allow the fitting to tighten completely so a tiny 1 drop a day drip developed on mine. (Chinese water torture).

A real life-saver when replacing cartridges in my whole-house filter unit. I ordered this bracket for use with my new WATTS WH-LD unit and it's a perfect fit. I mounted it to my basement wall, drilling into the blocks and installing anchors, and using the included screws this thing works great. It sure does take a lot of weight off of the pipes, and the filter unit is rather heavy when full. It allows you to unscrew the filter housing easily, and with no strain on the pipes at all. PERFECT solution to an old problem!!

This an exact replacement part for our original bracket. However I think it is a thicker metal. (Maybe they realized the need to upgrade the material or maybe the plumber that installed our original used a cheaper brand bracket). I am very pleased with the strength of this bracket since the filter is sometimes stuck and requires a lot of twisting force to release it. I have not actually replaced our bracket yet, (as it is under the house and I have not been motivated to make the crawl this week). I actually bought 2, planning to double them up, but I think that might not even be necessary. Will post an update later ,if necessary.
