Use this handy wooden Pasta Board / gnocchi ridger to quickly press your dough and create ridges on your gnocchi. These ridges help the sauce cling to the surface of the gnocchi. Can also be used to create grooved butter balls. Buon Appetitio .

Terrible I used it wish I saved packing would have sent it back. As I’m cleaning it you can see the wood splintering.

The product merits 5 stars, but the packing (with a carbon steel skillet in a basic plastic mailing bag) leaves MUCH to be desired. This item arrived with a broken handle because it was not packaged adequately. NOT the fault of the item or its producers. DEFINITELY the fault of Amazon packaging.

Good I guess but it’s really tiny. I was surprised when it arrived

I got this for gnocchi but have not send it for other shaped pasta. A great tool that’s easy to use and will be a part of my pasta making going forward.

Overall it works fine. I wish it wasted of a heavier wood as it’s light and possibly fragile with more use.

I chose to purchase this as it was decently priced and had deep grooves. Indeed, this gnocchi paddle is quite solid with very pronounced grooves. Very easy to use to create nice texture on your gnocchi that not only looks beautiful, but does it’s job of catching sauces. You can also use this to impart texture on other pastas like garganelli. Of note, the wood seems a bit on the soft side and might be prone to being dented or splinted if you’re not careful handling the paddle, especially if it ever gets wet. Also, not sure if the handle is supposed to spin, but it does slightly while not being wobbly. Other than that, no complaints!

Small, but works. Easy to use once you learn how to use it.

It works really well. It is light so it feels kind of cheap, in general, but it definitely does the trick. I expected it to be bigger, but, it’s big enough.

Made perfect, cute gnocchi so fast. :) I watched a youtube video first to get used to it but after that it was a breeze. Hard to explain, but you push down with your thumb on the dough and it will roll into a little ball with the lines. If you are unfamiliar, I highly suggest a quick youtube video as it's easier seen than read.
