As my mother is 100% Polish, I have been making pierogis since I was a little girl. It wasn't until recently that I decided that I wanted to branch out and try other forms of stuffing-dough-with-delicious-fillings, but after trying to make raviolis on several occasions without any specialized tools or molds, I was convinced that they were just much too difficult to make, and I reverted back to pierogi (that I could practically make in my sleep!).I did not have high hopes that this mold set would make much difference in my ravioli making, but I decided to give it a shot - and boy, was I pleasantly surprised that with the right tools, I had opened up my world to a whole new world of stuffed-dough-food!As a few other reviewers noted, the dough does occasionally get stuck in the mold, so I have learned that either a light coat of cooking spray or a tiny sprinkle of flour helps the stuffed ravioli release more easily. Other than that, these molds allow the dough to stretch nicely to fit the forms perfectly and allow for all of the completed raviolis to retain the same shape and size.So far, I'm super impressed, but my kids keep saying that they're not completely convinced I'm doing it right, so I probably should keep practicing...

Never did get these ravioli hardware to work easily and generate a nice well constructed ravioli. Several of the group tried. Would not recommend.

Love to make homemade ravioli, and this helps so much. It's easy to use, clean and store. I spray with a little bit of butter spray and it makes it easier for the dough to not stick. It's a large form at a great price.
