The Cuisinart MCP-12N Multiclad Pro cookware set was carefully packaged and delivered quickly. The pots and pans feel heavy and sturdy, indicating great quality. I haven’t used them yet, but my first impression is very positive. Thanks to the seller for the careful shipping!

So if your going back and forth on which pot set you should get, let me help you, THIS ONE!I had debated over getting this pot set or the Legend pot set, like you are doing now if your reading this, and serious about cooking and your cookware. After consulting with 2 ai's ans reading reviews, I pulled the trigger and bought it, and it is one of thee best purchases I have made this year. First off they look beautiful. I used to put my pots away after cleaning, but now they sit on my stove like antrophy achievement unlocked for cooking and leveling up my cookware altogether. I really don't have any cons. They do show discoloration, but that's just par for the course of using stainless steel. These pots inspire me to cook. And the stove to oven ability takes my cooking to another level. Sear salmon then put I under the broiler from the stove check ✔ easy to clean check ✔ weighed and not to heavy and the handles feel good as well check again! So basically stop going back and forth, for this quality at this price point, it can't be be beat. I never post photos on here, but I wanted to show you how your new pot setup looks. These are also perfect if your shooting cooking videos.Have fun chef!!!P.S DO NOT USE STAINLESS STEEL COOKING UTENSILS THEY WILL SCRATCH THE POT SURFACE. STICK TO WOOD OR NONSTICK UTENSILS.

Like all the Cuisinart Stainless Steel cookware, it is excellent quality and well designed. It heats evenly and quickly and the lids are a near perfect seal. The handle is a decent weight that can be handled on the heat without a kitchen mat. It also has a well placed thumb-notch to make handling the loaded pot easy and manageable. To sauté, whether with oil or water in the pans is a pleasure and the clean-up afterward is a snap.I can't imagine anyone being disappointed with anything from their line. And best of all, it is stainless steel. No aluminum or non-stick coating issues to think about. For those who have a question, whatever chromium content there may be in the stainless steel itself is finished with potential leaching during cooking after 5 or 6 uses. In my opinion, the best choice for daily, clean, healthy cooking.Happy cooking!

These are a pleasure to use, and well designed so that lids fit more than one pot.On an induction stove, the pots heat quickly and very uniformly. Omelettes cook uniformly across the surface, and slide out as if the pans were non-stick.Possible downside for some: On our particular stove, when the input power is around 2kW, there is a slight hum or ringing that we can hear. The pots seem fine to the limit of the stove, 2.3kW. We are more sensitive to sound than many, so I would not rate it as a big deal.Unless you are trying to waste money or name drop brands to make acquaintances envious, I think that this is the cookware set to beat. I've cooked with pricier cookware, even copper cookware, and while cooking with those pans is a little different, I do not think that the pans cook better. This is a great set.If you don't have grip strength in your hands, they may feel heavy to some, but this set is relatively light in weight for an induction ready stainless steel cookware set. You can easily find sets that weigh 35-50% more.A+! I would not hesitate to buy the set.

Firstly, I’ve given this cookware set a 5 out of 5 based on ‘best value’ not ‘best quality’. Secondly, I place considerably more trust in reviews from America's Test Kitchen (ATK) / CenturyLife.Org than most user reviews. Similarly, I expect readers of this review to treat it on a ‘for information only’ basis. In a nut-shell the Cuisinart MCP-12N Multiclad Pro Stainless Steel 12 x piece cookware set is a Chinese made equivalent of the USA made 3D All-Clad range. A great comparison review was written by CentryLife. The only addition I can make to their review is that the sides of the Cuisinart fry pans/skillets are noticeably steeper than that or the All-Clad, as seen in the picture (All-Clad 3D left / Cuisinart right). As noted in the ATK review of 12” skillets, these steeper sides may be detrimental under some circumstances. These two fry pans are comparable in almost every other respect, aside from cost. The Cuisinart Multiclad Pro saucepans do show watermarks more than the All-Clad, these can be removed with Barkeepers Friend. The entire 12 x piece Cuisinart MCP-12N set was only $20 more than my 1 x Demeyere Proline Frying Pan, so my expectations are adjusted accordingly. I believe the performance gap between Demeyere and All-Clad is significantly more than the gap between All-Clad and Cuisinart. High quality workhorse skillets can be purchased at a later date, if required. The Cuisinart set is worth it for the saucepans and stockpot alone, the skillets are an entry point bonus.

UPDATED 4 weeks after use and my initial review below.I am getting increasingly frustrated by the poor design, In fact, I would call it a serious design flaw. The issue is the handles on the pots are too thin, and you are not able to get a good grip as I have stated previously. But after many uses now, the issue is one of the handle design being too thin. The handle has a groove in the center, I assume to allow placement of a thumb, but the overall handle has little girth, and nearly impossible to grip when trying to tilt the pans when turning or emptying the contents onto a plate or into a bowl. I regret not being able to test these first in a retail store.Really wanted the Tramontina brand, ( but have read only get Made in Brazil. They were not able to ship the correct set, so I switched to Cuisinart. Overall set seems pretty good. Heat conductivity is good, and Cuisinart has a higher Temp rating for oven use (500 degrees) which is much better than Tramontina. I do have a Tramontina sauté pan and it has heavier walls and bottom, and different handles and "helper" shapes. My only real beef with the cuisinart is that the handles are hard to hold when turning pots, pouring, moving etc. . Especially transferring contents to another pot or strainer for pasta. The handles have slipped out of my potholders (silicone surface) a few times. The long fry pan handles are not the most comfortable to use, a bit too thin for getting a good grip ( I am a man, with med. hands) it may be different for a smaller person. They are a good value, and look good, exactly what I wanted in the aesthetic category. Lids stack all if you want to fit them into the pots upside-down. I was replacing an Analon Hard Anodized set, and this a real improvement in terms of heat conductivity/sensitity. Also very easy to clean
